Lost In Emotion

=Tye P.O.V=

"Tye wake up!" I hear a loud shout. "Huh what?" I say still feeling dazed. "Just wake the hell up will you. Or you are going to be late for school and that will make me late for work so get your fat ass in the damn shower and get dressed!" Woah my mum never shouts like that. But I better get up before she comes back with a wooden spoon, and believe me you do not want to know where that spoon has been.

I'm Tye. I'm nothing really special or unique. My reports are pretty average. I usually just get C's with the occasional C+. But that's me really.

I quickly get up off my bed then I take my clothes out of my wardrobe and I take it to the bathroom. I hop in the shower for thirty seconds then my mum bangs on the door. "Your time is up! Get out before I come in and yank you by the ear!" I turn the water off then I get dressed as fast as I can. I go out to the car were my mum is waiting for me. "Well hurry up we don't have all day get in the car!"
Hi I'm Tye. 14 years of age and for some reason my mum is being aggressive. She is never mean to me. Maybe it's that time of month but I don't think so.

After a five minute drive to school with the car filled with silence. I unlock the car door and get out and go around the back to get my school bag.

It's weird. Yesterday pretty much everyone was a little angry. Well not a little angry I mean a lot angry. But the weird part is is that those people are normally happy go lucky and all that kind of stuff.
My mum was like this yesterday but it was only yesterday she seemed to be mad for no solid reason. Same thing with my dad and it seems the same today.
I walk away from my car and as I walk to the classroom everyone seems angry or mad about something.

I pass by those jocks who are always show offs and stuff like that. But ironically they aren't looking so buff. In fact it looks like someone let out air out of their balloon.

Alice and I were talking about it. Whatever the reason is that people are so...different dosent seem to be affecting us. Maybe there is something that we just haven't discovered yet. Like a death or something. Then again how do you not hear about a death?

I arrive near my class. I spot my friend Lewie who is just in the next class. I haven't tried this yet. "Hey Lewie you're a vegan!" He just looks at me with a sad expression. "Just leave me alone" he says and he walks away into his classroom.

Now that's odd. Normally he would always call me a vegan back. Then this whole thing would just go back and fourth.

I swing my bag off my back and place it on the hook. I look behind me and I see Alice. "Hey Tiger" she says. I see that Josh is behind her. He still looks a little gloomy but somewhat normal. "Hey Alice" I say back to her. She has a note in her hand. She passes it to me. "What's thi-"

"SHHHHH" she says to me. I open it.

Tye before you read on you must swear to keep this all a secret. Right now wink twice in your left eye and once in your right to agree.

The first lines read. The hell is this. If this is a joke I may as well play along. I wink twice in my left eye and one in my left.

Mr. Jones called me to the office yesterday. He told me why everyone is acting so different. They have been poisoned in the air in a way. He told me he once knew a guy who went by the name of "EYE" he created a machine that emits see through gas in the air and it changes everyone's emotions world wide. He told me that we have to go to London to destroy the machine...he was about to say something else but then. He broke down and shouted random nonsense and it was a side I have never seen of him before. It was almost as if the gas finally caught up to him. That's all we have to go on. So here is the plan. We wait till recess then we make a run out of school then we catch a bus to the airport. I have money to book the tickets.

That's all the note says. I look at her. She mouths four words. "This isn't a joke" she mouths.

I wink to show that I'm in. Our teacher arrives and fiddles with his Keys to unlock the classroom. He gives up and he kicks the door off its hinges.

So it seems as if everyone is effected but not us. It's weird. Well it looks like we have no choice. We have to go do it.

We walk in the classroom. "Now we are going to be reading the hobbit" our teacher says. "Actually I don't care. Read it don't read it or rip it I don't care" Alice and I smile...you have no idea how long we have waited for this day.

I grab my copy of the hobbit and then I rip the pages out. Alice is doing the same and we are having great fun. The class is just talking to each other different to what they normally are. We see Danny started a protest about how we should not make Muslim and Asian jokes. We see the most sensative girl in class actually toughen up.

Recess comes. Alice and I look at each other then we boot it. We are going to fly to London
