That Girl

Emma and Zack were two different people, Emma was one of meanest women in the school, while Zack was a lovable dork. Who would have ever thought that they would end up falling in love?

Emma and her best friend Dana Brooke walked down the hallway to get to their next class, it was 5th period and they both had Science. They walked into the classroom and sat down in the back of the classroom so they could talk with each other. Dana took out her phone and was showing pictures of her boyfriend to Emma, his name was Dolph Ziggler. 

"Damn Dana, he's cute. Wish I had a guy as hot as him." replied Emma. Dana chuckled at this and suggested that they look at some of the guys in the class. Emma nodded and looked across the room, there was one guy who stood out to her. His name was Zack Ryder and his personality would clash with hers. 

"Oh girl, you like Ryder don't you? He's a dork and we're cool. It wouldn't work." Dana said with a smirk. Emma elbowed her in the side and told her to shut her mouth. Dana and Emma continued the period and talked about other things.

*Timeskip to Lunch*

Emma and Dana left the classroom and went to the cafeteria to eat. Dana had picked a table to sit at that they and their friends usually sat at. Their group usually consisted of Tyler Breeze, the selfie obsessed male, Charlotte, the egotistical daughter of Ric Flair, Alexa Bliss, the tiny yet always blissed off woman and Fandango, the dancing phenomenon. 

Emma had discussed her crush on Zack with Charlotte and Alexa. "What?! No way Em, you really like that nerd?" said Alexa in shock. Charlotte glared at her and spoke, "Emma, if you like him then go for it. I'm sure he'd say yes." Charlotte said calmly. Tyler didn't answer because he was too focused on marveling himself and Fandango was busy chatting with Summer Rae, another woman who associated herself with Emma and Dana. 

From a distance, Zack sat at his table with his friends and looked over at Emma and hers. "Damn, she's so hot!" Zack said to himself. "Seriously? You think she's hot? Dude, we're nerds and she's popular. It won't work" exclaimed AJ Lee. Zack brushed off her comment and continued staring at her. "Dude, if you want her then go get her! She's single." urged Cesaro.

*Time skip to the ending of the school day*

The final bell had run and Emma was anxious to get out. She had been thinking of Zack all day and was wanting to talk to him. 

Emma walked down the hallway by herself to talk with Zack and when she got to his locker, she and him locked eyes for about a minute and then awkwardly hugged. When they broke apart, Zack finally spoke. "Oh hi Emma, can I help you with something?" he said nervously. 

"Yes Zack, I actually wanted to ask you something." she said with a smile on her face. Zack smiled back and her and she blushed. "Well Emma, I also have something I wanted to ask you as well. 

They stared at each other for a moment and then spoke at the same time "I really like you and would like to go out on a date." Emma and Zack both looked embarrassed and were red like tomatoes. Zack and Emma laughed and hugged each other. 

After they had broken the hug, Zack leaned down to Emma and kissed her. It wasn't a very romantic kiss but it was still a kiss. Emma and Zack were both blushing by now and were having a feeling they couldn't explain.

 Was it love, who knew? Only Emma and Zack could possibly know.
