My best friend

Introduction:

We were best friends. We worked together at a small coffee shop. We went to school together in the same grade. He was one year older but I still acted more mature. We walked together in the hallways laughing and he dropped me off at my classes sometimes being late to class. We lived so close to each other so we hung out with each other almost everyday after school. We spent weekends together, breaks, and even holidays. Our parents were good friends as well. My mom was single and his dad was on a work trip in Manhattan, so his mom was alone with his little sister lily, and him. So we spent most of our time together. Most people thought that we would be the perfect couple but that wouldnt happen because we didn't want to ruin our friendship.But when I come out to him that I have a crush on him we dart to avoid each other. He becomes close to a girl at our school named Julianna and they start to date. I have to do everything I can to gain back our relationship.
