Ruby's P.O.V
There is another war in Domania. Great, that means dad won't be here, oh, wait he never comes home anyway. If only there could be some sort of magic to stop it. I heard a creak from attic and decided to check it out. I went to see and saw my mom getting down from there. "Why were you there?" I asked my mom. She looked at me coldly and said, "just putting some stuff in there dear ,but you shouldn't ever go in there."
"Yes mom," I turned around and roll my eyes as I see that she followed me. I went back to my room to read my book. It was about these people with magic. I wish that I could have magic like them and leave this place!
"Come down honey it's time for dinner,"My mom shouted. I ran down the stairs and saw mashed potatoes with turkey and corn. I looked around for my mom and saw her coming down from the attic again. "I made you your favorite." I sat down and gobbled most of the food and saved some for mom. Besides mom's warning I went upstairs to see what was in the attic.
