First Journal EntryI don't know where I am, why I'm here, or what time it is. All I can see are the tall, leafy green trees and wild animals eating the thick patches of grass. My long blond hair had gotten tangled up pretty good. There are some dark green pine needles in my hair, so I would assume I have been here for a little while. I'm going to check for my Iphone in hopes that I could call my boyfriend, Andy. Oh my god, that was a terrible idea. I tried grabbing my phone, but when I reached my hand down into my pocket I jumped. It was sticky and wet, it felt like a small child went on my phone with jelly and glue coating their small fingers. I pulled the phone out, and had seen the red liquid smothering the phone that had also turned out to be soaked through my pocket. I decided to open it up and see if I could somehow get it to work, so I dug my nail into a little opening on the back and slid it off. What I saw made me scream, "Holy shit! Why are there ugly worm things?"
I chucked my phone at an oak tree and leaned against a tree about two yards away. Someone must have heard me scream, because I saw a man running towards me, "Are you okay?" the man exclaimed, he looked about 25, had a little bit of stubble, brown hair with blue eyes, he looked perfect.
"Oh um, I think so, though im not sure why I'm here, is there any place near here I could call someone at? My name is Aspyn by the way," I stuttered at the man.
"Well hi Aspyn, I'm Axle, and you could come to my cabin if you would like," Axle said in a deep but soothing voice, I don't know why, but I trusted him as soon as I heard the leaves crunching as he ran toward me.
I took the offer, and my 23 year old self didn't even think twice about it. We saw a few deer on the way, a doe and two fawns. When we came closer to them they ran kicking back the leaves back in their trails. About a block away from where we had seen the deer I started to see something, it looked a bit like a cave. It had some sticks leaning against the walls of the dome like formation.
As we walked past I saw what was a cabin about the size of a "fancy" McDonalds but you could tell it had a level under that because of the dip down that had a window. It didn't feel right, but I walked in anyways as he held the door open for me after it was unlocked. My first thought was that it smells like death and vanilla, it's not as bad as it sounds.
Axle looked a little suspicious, like something was wrong and he didn't want to freak me out. He started to give me a small tour of the first level. Whenever he talked there was a slight studder in his voice. It was getting darker and darker by the minute. "We should get to bed, it's getting late,"
He let me sleep on the couch, but about five minutes after he left I heard scratching on the door "Hello? Axle?" I called out.
I went over to Axle's room to see him reading a book, it said nothing on the cover. I explained the scratching on the door and how it was a little frightening, "Well you can just sleep in here with me, I'll make sure you're safe."
I sat down on the left side of the bed on the very edge as he dozed off on the middle of the right side. I felt a strong hand wrap around my waist and pull me closer. "You're really pretty you know."
"Ok thanks!" I exclaimed awkwardly.
He laughed and continued to pull me closer, my face inches away. I didn't say anything, I didn't even know what to say. As we grew closer and closer our lips met, I felt the stubble on his upper lip. "I have to go to the bathroom, timing, right?" I said trying to sound honest.
As I was headed to the bathroom I saw that there was a landline on the wall in the corner by the sink. I dialed Andy's phone number and waited for him to pick up. He was asking where I was, but I myself didn't even know . "You can't keep doing this," Andy said with an unsure tone of voice.
What did I do that was so bad? I didn't plan on this happening. Axle called for me in the other room. I know Andy heard him.
"Who are you with? If I'm not enough for you, I'll just stay out of your life," he told me, but before I could say anything he hung up
I don't need someone who's going to accuse me of such things everyday anyways, but that doesn't mean I'm not sad about this.
