Im awake now. I woke up with a dog on the end of the queen sized bed, an Australian Shepherd. Axle looked up at me and smiled, "This is Beau, my pup," he had explained to me.

"He's adorable, I love the breed," I had lied not even seeing one in person before.

"Don't we all? Haha, thanks," Axle joked.

Axle and i had expressed how we were both hungry and decided to set out to look for a diner. As we were walking to his red, rusted pickup truck he ran up and opened the door for me, I sat down on the black leather seat and buckled up.
We were driving to Denny's and on the side of the road there was a man who appeared to be in pain, so Axle being the good man he is, stopped on the shoulder of the road to see if he could help. The man had gray hair, green eyes, and rotting teeth, but they weren't just rotting. I thought that he had those fake teeth on, like the ones from Halloween, but then something strange happened. "Here, let me help you, please," Axle said as he extended his arm out, just to have the man bite him.

"Oh my god, what are you doing?" I asked frightened.

"Don't worry, you'll be fine as long as you're with me, this town is different than most, promise you wont be scared. I cant let this guy man stay in pain, that would be cruel," he told me assuringly.

"Ok, I can't promise I won't be scared but please just let me know what's going on, ok?" I said as i bursted with tears from seeing such an awful sight.

"Ok, I will when we get to Denny's, everything's under control," he had said to me calmly in his voice that I fell in love with.

We went down the road and made a few turns as I listened to the music on the radio. "This is an amazing song!" I said before I sang with Axle as it played in the truck.

"Man, I didn't you could sing, " Axle told me as I completely forgot about the inccident before hand.

We soon arrived at Denny's and I ordered waffles, Axle ordered pancakes. The strawberries on mine tasted funny, I think it was the juice stuff, it tasted like metal. "I think they gave you the wrong one," Axle mentioned, "Waiter, you gave her the wrong order," Axle told them politely as they took my plate into the back and got me a new one. "Anyways, that man isn't exactly normal. Nobody here really is."

"What? That's kind of rude, I'm normal!" I screamed at him in confusion.

"If I need to prove it, I will. You're gonna see soon that you don't know your own body too well at the moment. We need to go somewhere after we're done eating, I'm proving it to you," he said with confidence.

"Ok, I lost my appetite after you said I don't know my own body. Prove to me that you're not crazy or pulling some prank. Then I'll believe you," I said doubtingly.

"Fine. I can also help you find a place to live if you want, you can't go back to where you lived before. Everything is gonna be okay," he assured me as we went on our way.

Whilst going to the place he mentioned we saw someone selling something at a stand and stopped, "Hey Bradley, I'll take two,"

He was selling bottles, they weren't clear so I couldn't tell what was in them. He gave Bradley thirty dollars and told him too keep the change. Maybe I'll find out later what it is.
