Oh how I love Spanish. It's the only class I have with Andrew. I was sitting impatiently in social studies for the bell to ring. When it did, I dashed out into the hallway. I didn't even bother waiting for Cole to get there. When I got to Spanish, I couldn't help but smile when I saw Andrew. His brown hair looked so soft and the way his brown eyes sparkled... Ugh it's just perfect.
"Gee. Thanks for waiting on me." Cole said as he sat next to me.
"Holly told me to get here early!"
"Huh?" Holly, my friend asked confused.
"Uhh nothing! Just go with it."
"Renee, there better not be a boy."
"There isn't Cole! Trust me you would know if there was."
He just sat there and rolled his eyes.
"Hola clase! I want everyone to look at your seat partner. That is who you will be playing games with for the rest of the period." The teacher announced as she walked in the classroom. Andrew turned around and looked at me.
"Sup?" He asked while smiling.
"Nothing really!" I said as he laughed. I couldn't help but laugh along.
"You have to at least play 5 games together then you can have the rest of the time to yourselves if you would like."
"So what game do you want to play?"
"I don't care."
"C'mon ladies choice!"
" Okay fine. Let's play candy land."
"Alright but I have to warn you, I am pretty beast at this game. But don't worry, you can have my shoulder to cry on if you end up losing! Let me go get it."
I waited for him to come back. I looked across the room to see Dillon winking at me. I stuck my tongue out and saw Andrew coming back. We ended up only playing that game for the rest of the time. Andrew kept getting mad because I would win a lot. It felt like we had been friends forever. To be honest, I actually forgot about my crush on him. I don't think the teacher ever noticed that we had the same game. If she did, she didn't say anything about it.
When the bell rang Andrew said, "Awe man! I was having fun!"
When he said that, I smiled. It made me feel important to him.
