Tryouts

Every year i try out for cheer-leading, and every year i get voted team captain in tryouts before it even starts. I lead the newbies and see if they have what it takes.

"Okay Newbies this is your team captain Kaylee smothers" our coach announced my name i waved." she will be the one who makes or breaks you okay lets get this started, Kaylee" she said waving her hand in my direction.

" Alright Newbies lets see what you got" i said walking up to the front. 

"We are going to start of easy, when i call your name you will give me a round off." i said.

everybody lined up. "Kasey Carey goes first" she said. a skinny redhead came up and did a semi perfect round off. " That was good although you need to tuck in more okay" she nodded and sat back down she went through 19 girls but only 10 are needed.

" Okay i will have the list up tomorrow morning in the auditorium."  she said walking down the field to her car.

she get in and buckle my seat belt and drove to go get the girls from school.

she goes get Kaitlynn cause she is closer. She climbs in and buckle her self up.

"How was school,?" she said putting the car in drive.

"Okay i guess, hey after we get Kara can we get something to eat im hungry," Kaitlynn said.

"Sure, im a little hungry too." Kaylee said.

"Oh how was tryouts," Kaitlynn said.

"Captain again, we got 10 spots open but 19 try out and most of them sucked." Kaylee said

"One more year and ill take that Captain spot." Kaitlynn said.

Kaylee smiled. Kaitlynn and her are those kind of sisters that rarley fights, they get along alot better than her and their dad.

as she pull in the elementary, a girl with long blond hair came up to the window

"Who you here for.?" The blond girl asked.

"Kara Smothers," Kaylee said.

" Are you a relative.?" she asked

"I'm her sister," Kaylee said.

"KARA!!! your ride is here." The girl yelled behind her.

Kara came running to the car, she got in and buckled her seat belt, Kaylee drove off.

 "How was school,?" Kaylee asked

"Good we made a turkey hand." Kara said.

"Why turkey its almost Christmas," Kaylee asked

"Well we were gonna do a tree but some of the boys wouldn't stop eating the glitter" Kara said.

"oh okay, Hey are you hungry." Kaylee asked. Kara nodded yes and we pulled into subway.

RING RING. 

"Hello?" Kaylee said.

"Hey baby-girl did you pick up your sisters.?" the voice said. Kaylee knew exactly who it was.

"Yes dad we are getting subway you want anything?" Kaylee said.

"No me and Courtney is going out tonight thats why i wanted to call you" He said

" Oh okay well have fun" Kaylee said hanging up the phone.

"Hi welcome to subway, what can i get you?" A brunette girl said.

"I would like a 5 inch Chicken Bacon ranch melt with mayo and some pickles." Kaylee said.

" I would like the blt please with pickles and ranch" Kaitlynn said

"  i want the meat and cheese one sissy with mayonise!!" Kara said

"She wants the Steak and cheese please with mayo and 3 fruit punches" Kaylee said.

" okay your total is 17.43" the girl said as i was handing the money to her.

"Thank you" Kaylee said grabbing her food and her change.

They got in the car and drove home. when we got home the lights were on.

" I thought dad was out?" Kaitlynn said. 

"He is, stay here and get low okay." i said getting out of my car.
