Chapter 1
I walk out of my tent which is my house. Thank gosh we bought that space heater because its freezing outside. My family is poor. Sometimes we cant have food because my family cant afford it. My name is Kamyron. I go to a school for poor people in Atlanta GA. All my friends are poor too, not all as poor as me though. I go to our other tent to get dressed. m
Brrr I think. Wish we had a heater in here too. I grab a green top and blue flare jeans and throw on my purple hoodie. I grab my bag and coat and put on my shoes. I head off to school.
*30minutes later*
"Hey Kamryon!" My bff Leah says to me when she walks into homeroom.
"Hey how are ya?" I say
"Good you?"
"Hungry wana to run up to the cafateria and get breakfast?"
"I thought you'd never ask!"
*5minutes later*
"What is it today?" I asked
"No clue..... Oh I hope its pancakes again!" Leah said
"No cheese omletes!" I argued
"As long as its food I'm okay.... I wasn't able to eat this weekend.... we bought more blankets instead."
"Then lets get someting to eat!"
As we hope into line to get our breakfast, I was surprised to see that it was waffles and strawberries. My stomach started to growl just thinking about them.
"Omg this looks so good! I'm going back in for seconds!" I said.
"Your only going in for seconds? If they have thirds, I'm going in!" Leah challenged.
"You girls are weak! Bet you couldn't take 4ths!" A firmilar voice said.
Leah just laughed and I turned around to see him.
