Left for dead

Chapter 1

In the land of Various is where the story starts. Various is a city in ancient times, the people were slaves to the rich. The leaders of Various had stone cold hearts, dead eyes, and bloody hands. The main leaders of Various were  Jack the powerful, Shone the strong, and Dameon the bloody. These men rule over Varies with an iron fist. Varies was the most powerful cities in the nation.

Some people such as the slaves hated the thought of the three leaders. They didn't want them to rule over them. They were treated like cattle, pulling wagons, make them sleep in the stables and wipe them if the spoke out of line. One day Jake one of the big three was walking through the marketplace all high and mighty looking down on the peasants. When out of nowhere a man with a cane dropped to the ground right in front of Jack's feet. Jack said with anger in his voice "how dare you block the path of your ruler!" He raised his hand as if he was going to hit the old man, but then he felt his hand stop. He looked behind him to see a young dark haired man holding on to Jack's wrist.

Jack said in shock and anger "if you wish to keep your arm I suggest you let go."

The man replied "If you want to keep your tongue I suggest you keep it to yourself."

 The young man let go and bent down to the old man helping him up. The old man must have known him because he called him Mateus. Jack then wiseled and four guards dressed in full steel armor came and grabbed Mateus by the arms and put him in shingles. Jack told the guards to take Mateus to cell 92. The guards begin to drag Mateus to the huge stone castle in the middle of the city. He is lead down a staircase to a dark hallway, the walls were iron bars and iron bar doors. The cells had men crying on the floor, dirty, hungry, and broken. The guards did not place Mateus into one of the iron cells. Instead he was lead to a room at the end of the hallway and there was no bars or any way to see into the room. The guards threw  him into the stone cased room and shut the door.

Mateus was sitting in a room that had nothing in it, not even a torch. He was left in the stone room for what seemed like hours before the door opened. The man who entered was 6.5 feet tall and was muscles were massive. His red eyes were almost blocked by his long black hair. In his right hand was a whip and in his left was a small knife. Mateus ask with a calm voice "who are you". The large man stood over Mateus and said with a rough voice "I am Dameon, now prepare to bleed".
