Living Like A King -Kellic

Chapter 14

(( Nick pov ))

Oh my god. I can't believe my father purposely killed my uncle and tried to my cousins. I knew he was jealous but I didn't think he would sink that low and kill.

I tried to call Kellin but he didn't answer his phone. I know he's on vacation but I'll try again later. I have to tell aunt Viv. I'm so nervous.

*3 hours later*

I see aunt Viv's car pull into the driveway from my window and I start to get even more nervous, cause I have to break this news to her. If it's true what he said, that my cousins are in town, then they'll probably come by and I don't want anything to go wrong.

I go down stairs and meet her at the door. We need to talk somewhere where my dad won't hear us.

"Hey aunt Viv" I say to her.

"Hello, Nick sweetie" she said.

"Um can we talk, I need to tell you something?" I asked her.

"Sure just give me a couple minutes" she said.

Dads in his office upstairs and we can go down into the game room and talk, yeah that will work.

"Ok meet me I the game room" i said and walked toward the game room. She nodded.

This was not going to be easy to say to her. I know how much this hurt her and what she went through when they died.

Suddenly my phone starts ringing, it's Kellin, fuck this kid had good timing.

"Hello?"

"Hey Nick, what up ? You called?" He said.

"Yeah I did but can you hold on a sec?" I asked him.

Maybe it will easier if I tell both of them at the same time.

"Sure" he said. And that's when aunt Viv came down.

Ok here goes nothing.

"Kellin you there?"

"Yep" he said. 

"Ok I'm going to put you on speaker phone my aunt Viv is here too ok" I said to him and I pushed the button for speaker.

"Hey Mrs Fuentes" Kellin said through the phone.

I saw tears prick the sides of her eyes but smiled and answered nonetheless.

"Hey Kellin how are you sweetie?" She asked him.

I cut in before this goes any further I have to get this over with.

"-Ok  I have to tell both of you something, well the same thing" I said starting off.

"Ok I know what I'm about to tell you two is hard to hear after all this time, but I just found out about this myself ok so.... I'm just going to say this" I paused.

"Ok when I came home from school I heard my dad talking on the phone in his office and he was angry, I knew he's been acting off lately, and so I sort of eaves dropped on his conversation and he was talking about Vic and Mike...." I paused again.

Aunt Viv was staring at me with expression I didn't quite know. And Kellin I don't know it was just silent. But I heard his breathing so I know he was still there.

"The was talking to I guess co worker or something cause he was saying that he would fire them if they come here"

"If who comes here?" Viv asked.

"Vic and Mike" I said.

"But t-they-"

"No they didn't, let me finish..." I cut her off. She nodded.

"I don't know how but my dad was involved in the reason my uncle Vic crashed his car and Vic and Mike survived and he forced them to run away" I paused again. 

"Kellin you still there?" I asked him.

"Yeah I am, and I should tell you guys this since its been brought up... I knew they were alive..." He said and aunt Viv and I looked at each other.

"Only since last week though, I sort of ran into Vic, in San Diego at the airport when we were on our way to Cancun, and we talked for a while" he said.

I looked at aunt Viv and she looked as though she'd burst into tears. She also looked speechless.  I didn't know that to say either.

"Ok listen, aunt Viv you can't tell my dad that we know, same with you kells he can't know that you know, he said that their in the area and if they come here then they might be in danger from my dad-"

"Wait their in LA?" Kellin cut me off.

"Yeah, why?" I asked.

"Well Vic said that he'd never come back and that he and Mike couldn't just pick up and leave San Diego and even though I asked and begged he kept saying no" Kellin explained 

"Maybe changed his mind?" I said.

"Anyway what are we gonna do my babies are out there and they want to come home and with him here they can't" aunt Viv started crying.

"Well all we can do is hope that they come here when they come it's a time my dad isn't here" I say.

"Un can we continue later I'll be home in a two hours were about to land sorry" Kellin says to us.

"Yeah no problem, just let yourself in whenever Kellin" aunt Viv says.

And he hangs up the phone and I sit aunt Viv on the chair and comfort her. I knew she'd take it hard. But on the bright side we'll get to see them soon. And I can't wait I missed them a lot.

I hope people like the story so far. I didn't plan on this being all Nick pov, but as I was writing this I felt that it was needed, for more info and background of what goes on in their life. Hopefully things are a bit clearer for everyone. Also keep reading. I love you all. Stay awesome. =)
