Jenn's POV

Another message.

I picked up my phone stepping into the kitchen. Leaning on the counter, I unlocked it.

Should I listen? What if it's the same as the others?

I have to.

I pressed play and Connors voice filled my ears. It wasn't the beginning that shocked me. It wasn't the middle.

It was the last three words at the end.

Connor... loved me?

I dropped my phone immediately. I slowly walked to my room in a silent daze.

I collapsed on my bed. Everything I'd been holding in came out.

I cried because he loved me.
Because I'd been so bad to him.
Because he asked me out.
Because I loved him too.

Then I knew what I had to do.

Connor POV

I sat on my bed while my emotions got the better of me. I couldn't stop myself. I cried till there were no tears left. And for what?

My phone started to ring. I didn't want to answer it. But when I saw the caller ID, I had to.

"Hello! Conner?" cried a voice I'd been longing to hear.

"Yes." I answered.

I shook out of nervousness.

"Connor! I'm sorry! I was so stupid, I don't deserve you! I wish I told you my answer from the beginning." Jenn shouted.

"No!" I replied. "I was stupid for rushing things!"

"You didn't let me finish..... Yes."
