❝We have calcium in our bones,

and iron in our veins,

carbon in our souls,

and nitrogen in our brains;

ninety-three percent stardust

with souls made of flames.

We are all just stars

with human names.❞

SHE WAS A WOMAN OF CULTURE. She spoke in the unique tongues of females, words that would slip out of her lips like the cut of a sword or thunder in the skies.

She knew two languages fluently, two that every woman knew. A trait that united women and divided all. Women's heads were boxes full of fireworks with hands similar to a match that is always flamed. Their wit sly and sharp and their soul bright.

Men could not understand their language, for it was far too complex. It sounded like poetry and was like an influenza that spread to every woman on the globe. The language of men was one that all women certainly knew. It was blunt and plain like a dull knife. A knife that could still cause pain but was never preferred unless chosen by the ignorant.

There was another language that was forged not on tongue. It crept like a predator in the dark. It walked with them when they were awake and watched them when asleep. The language of silent pain could never be spoken to it's true value or damage.

They are words understood by each other and not understood by each other.

Some speak a third language. A dialect that defined a woman's darkest mind. Sweet words of joy that either warmed a heart or hypnotized the unfortunate.

But, her? Her words were of stars. It was so difficult to understand yet so easy to feel. You could hear the love in her voice but could not explain of what. Her hands were calloused and dirty with rust and stardust, like her blood. Her eyes were inviting and understanding, like her heart.

And, yet, her love was doomed. She never knew what the love of someone so contrast, so different, was.

She presumed that love was taking a bullet for someone and she didn't know if she would take a bullet for anyone or want to survive. Alas, Koda knew her purpose in life was not find the love of a man or woman, but to save lives.
