Everyone used to call me different... They used to say I would achieve great things... I never believed them, until they started. Until the dreams started.
It was the 1st December 2017 when I had the first dream. I dreamt that I was in a forest, all alone. There were trees clouding up the sky above me. Everything was plain and dull. Even the moon and the sky looked colourless. I was silent. So silent that it was deafening. But there was this little path. A path that went straight down the middle of the forest. And no matter how far I ran down the path I could never find my way out... I had dreams like this from that day onwards. I'm only going to tell you the ones that stuck out to me the most.
3rd December 2017, this is when the dream started to get worse. I was in the same forest, exactly the same. Only this time the moon was on the horizon of the path and all I could hear were groans. Groan, silence, groan, silence... That was all I could hear.
10th December 2017, I started to get scared by these dreams. I started seeing blood stained on the path, more and more every minute. Every time I blinked. Every time I breathed. There were more moans too. More and more, getting louder and louder. I could've sworn on the morning of the 11th, I could hear the moans and groans after I woke.
20th December 2017. I thought I was scared before... I regret saying so... During the dream I finally found something after walking down the path... I found a cabin. A little log cabin. What could be scarier? So, out of curiosity, I went inside the cabin and sat around the already lit fire for the rest of the dream, just watching the flames dance in the darkness.
24th December 2017. The worst and last dream. I awoke in the dream sitting around the fire that was still lit. I thought that it was rather weird and I would've investigated more if there wasn't something different about the cabin. There was now a table in the middle of the room with a box on it. I looked inside of the box and found a blood covered knife and a note. The note read 'I hope you enjoy the Christmas present I'm giving you.' I was well and truly scared after that.
