Chapter 17

-Niall's POV-

I'm currently talking to Paul trying to make him get me a ticket for a flight to Memphis. 

"I can book you on at 2:30 am." Paul acknowledged me

"That'll do." I sad to him "I'll be gone for who knows how long she's going to be there until she returns"

Well, I have a flight at 2:30 am. So I packed my things into a suitcase. 

That's when I realized.

Regret. I regret that I never paid attention to her.

I regret that I was so busy. I regret that we never talked about her. I regret that I let her think I wasn't interested.I regret that I never really knew her.

So I burst into tears until I fell asleep. 

*11:00 pm* 

I woke up to some weight going down on my bed. I opened my eyes and see that it's Tracy. I pretended I'm asleep because, well, she's going to sleep anyway.

After an hour, I snuck out and went to the airport with my things and ticket. 

-Lauren's POV-

Memphis. Here I am. Back home. I didn't really say to my mum that...well, I'm going home. I guess it's just a surprise then. A big, horrible, sad surprise because of what's going on lately.

I took a tax back home and when I knocked on the door..

"LAUREN!" squealed the woman behind the door. Mom.

I hugged her immediately and she returned it. 

I missed her. It's been a while since we haven't seen each other. I wish Niall was here, though.

"So mom, are we gonna visit Lois' grave?" I asked her, she nods.

Oh how I miss my sister. We were so close to each other. She just died last year. And I remember that.. We were fangirling over One Direction together.

We also had a crush at the same guy. Niall. But look where I am now. He's my boyfriend and well, I ignored him. I'm such a bad girlfriend. Now I really wish he was here.

- Niall's POV-

I'm coming, Lauren. I'm coming for you. 

We're about to land in 2 hours. 

I was scrolling Twitter through my phone when...

"NIALL!" a voice screamed. A voice that's familiar, too familiar.

"Calum?" I questioned "Calum! Hey buddy!"

"Hey Niall" said Luke followed by Ashton and Michael

"Wow. 5 Seconds of Summer. Can I get your autographs?" I admit. I'm a big fan of them. If I wasn't in One Direction, I'll be at  my home fanboying all over 5 Seconds of Summer

"Oh Niall." They all said and laughed afterwards

It was a fun flight but I need to concentrate on Lauren.
