Chapter four: Peace and curiosity

Ed POV:
The next day......
"ED-KUN GOOD MORNING", the girls yelled while i walked to my desk.
"Good morning", I said with a smile.
"So cute", the girls said, while all of their faces turned red.
Suddenly Hikaru and Kaoru walked in, they both put their arms around me.
"Good morning Ed-kun, it's nice to see yah again", the mocking twins said.
"Good morning, Hikaru, Kaoru".
"We were surprised yesterday".
"You could tell us apart".
"But the way you do it is strange, our eyes are the reason you can tell us apart", they said.
"Yeah, it's just everyone is different".
"What do you mean",they said.
"Everyone has their own ideas, everyone has their own goals in life. And everyone has their own emotions. You guys are more different than you think".
"Wow, it's like déjà vu", they said.
"What do you mean"?
"Haruhi said the same thing".
"Wow then I must sound like an idiot to you huh".
"No actually, if you said the same thing that means it's truer than we thought", they said.
I stared at them, they were smiling.
"Good morning Haruhi", the girls shouted.
"Good morning".
"Haruhi is here", they said.
"Good morning Hikaru, Kaoru, Ed".
"Good morning", we said.
I sat in my seat and stared out the window. The campus looked peaceful as the wind blew the trees side to side.
"Everything is at peace", I thought.
I smiled as I began to think a quiet life was better than being in the military.
"I wish that life could always be this peaceful", I thought.
My eyes began to to shut, I began drifting off to sleep.
Haruhi's POV:
I looked over and saw Ed, sleeping. He was probably tired after eveything that happened yesterday. Ed was really cool yesterday. Right now even the other girls are staring at him. I guess some girls like dudes who are short with blonde hair and golden eyes.
After class.....
It was time for lunch so, we all walked dwon ti the cafeteria. I saw Ed have a look of confusion when he stared at a vending machine that gave out the lunches.
"How am I supposed to use this"?
"Money goes into the slot and you press a button for what you want".
"Really", he said.
"Yeah".
He heard my stomach growled as I looked at the food he had.
"Are you hungry Haruhi"?
"Yeah I left my lunch at home today".
"What would you like from the machine"?
I pointed at the the Roasted beef sandwich that was grilled with cheese and potatoes.
He smiled, and he got it for me. Ed is really nice.
"Thank you".
"No problem, you just really remind me of someone I know from home".
"I do who"?
"My childhood friend, her name is Winry, she's the one who helped me out with my Auto-mail".
"Are you in love with her"?
"Nope, she's like a little sister to me, I mean sure we're close, but she doesn't date guys who are shorter than her".
"Ed-kun, we saw what you did", the twins said while coming out of nowhere.
"What did you see"?
"You bought Haruhi lunch did you not", Hikaru said.
"What's wrong with that, Haruhi forgot his lunch so I bought him some to say thanks for helping", Ed said while blushing.
"Aw so cute", Tamaki-senpai said while running out of nowhere and hugging Ed.
"Tamaki-senpai, let go".
