As the setting sun slows down
The street abides silence
I will sleep til the sun rises in the bright diamonds in the sky
As the sun is still shining now I will shine my happiness
As I have fear of the dark
Night will overcome the sun, and the moon will take it's place
From the last beautiful rays of sunshine
The world is still and dark
My happiness has faded away
I bury my head under the covers
My fear of the dark has come to me
There must be some way out, some light
I stand, and flip the covers off
I walk in my room as blind as a bat
My mind settles as I walk towards the door
Suddenly
I flick the switch and light has come to save me
I am safe...
Safe at last...
