Snowy was napping beside the fire place when he was startled by the phone ringing. The dog opened one eye and looked at Tintin, who was rushing to the phone. "Hello?" The Belgian reporter said when he answered. "yes. I'm Tintin...really? That's amazing...I'll be right over!" Tintin put the phone down and turned to his loyal fox terrior. "Geuss what Snowy?" The reporter was so happy, he was almost jumping." I got an interview with Maya Rodrick! The most famouse diva on earth! Heh, no wonder she's a diva! Come on boy, we have to get ready. the interview is in one hour. Great snakes, we don't have time. Not a second to loose. Oh, this is going to be huge for the paper." At that moment Captain walked into the room to see Tintin jumping around and almost dancing out professor who had walked in the room a moment earlier, looking for his hat.

"Miss Rodrick?" Sierra cautiously walked into Maya's room. "Mr. Tintin is here." Maya looked at the pale brunette at the door. "Send him in then." She ordered impolitely. Sierra nodded and left, clutching her teeth so hard they hurt. She rolled her hazel eyes and flipped her dark brown hair. Why hadn't she called quits yet? No one knew except for her. Maybe she disn't hate her job that much after all.

Tintin checked for the millionth time to make sure he had everything he needed. When he noted that he had his notebook and pens, the young lad fixed his hair: making sure his quite looked okay and that his ginger hair was perfectly combed and looked nice. "Mr. TIntin," A female voice made him jump. "Follow me. Miss Rodrick is waiting for you. Oh, and I'm her manager, Sierra." The tall girl ended that with a small smile. Tintin followed Sierra through th long hallway to a big pink room with purple curtains and a purple rug. A coffe table with a vase of flowers in he middle of the rom with a long couch behind it. A really tall and thin blonde was sittin on the couch, stroking a Poppilon that was resting on her lap. The woman(do I really need to refere to her as that though? We all know she's Maya!)had emerald pale blue eyes and big rosy lips. her cheek bones added more texture to her pale face. "Hello Tintan!" Maya greeted the reporter with a huge smile, flipping her wavy hair behind her shoulders. "It's Tintin ma'am." Tintin corrected her shyly. Princess jumped off of her mistress and eyed Snowy. The terrier had been staring at her all along, not sure how to feel or what to think. "What are you staring at?" Princess asked Snowy with a scowl. Even though she liked being centre of attention, this dog looking at her was making her blush. "I'm sorry," Snowy murmured. "You must be Princess! I'm a huge fan. I especially love your work in 'This Is Not A Chew Toy' when you played the dog learning what a chew toy was!" The female animal blushed at that remark. That had sure been an emberrassing role! "Thank you Snowy," She barked. Snowy's face lit up when he heard that. Yay! Princess the Papillon knew his name!

Meanwhile, the two adults were asking and answering questions. Tintin, surprised by how much Maya was NOT like the characters she played, had to change questions like "what is your favourit sort of charity", to "what is your favourit way of drinking fruit punch".

"Speaking of fruit punch," Maya suddenly interrupted the interview, making te reporter frown and disturbing the dogs. "SIERRA! BRING US OVER AOME FRUIT PUNCH." She shouted. A minute later, Sierra was in the room with two glasses of punch. Maya smiled and took hers without a thank you. Tintin received the offered drink with a smile and a polite thank you. Sierra left and Maya put her glass on the table. "I don't like to take. Drinking break in the middle of an interview." She explained to Tintin. "I suggest you do the same." If Tintin found her voice demanding, he didn't say anything. Instead, "That's all for tonight Miss Rodrick," He said, getting up. "I can't fit allt his in one column!"

"Ok then," Maya seemed a little shocked and confused. She wasn't used to people actually ending an interview with her before she said so. "But finish your drink before you leave...please. I enjoy your company." Even though his strange-haired reporter was rushing to leave in a way she did not like, something about him made her smile. Not many people did that to Maya.

Tintin sat back down. Even though Maya seemed more and more impolite and self centred by the second, he decided there was something special about her. His instincts told him to stay. Why? He had that feeling he got whenever he knew Snowy or somebody else would be in danger. So Tintin just picked up his glass. Neither Tintin nor Maya noticed Snowy growling uncomfortably at them. Then...

Right when Maya put the tip of the glass on her lips, Snowy jumped up and knocked the glass out of her hand. "WHAT THE HECK IS YOUR DOG DOING?" Maya screamed, looking fiercely at Tinin. the reporter stopped her from touching the stain the punch had made on her sleeve. When Maya opened her mouth to scream at him again, the journalist put his finger to his lips, silencing the girl. "Don't move," He ordered, putting his own glass down. "Snowy saved your life. They were both poisoned."
