I had no idea where we were when we arrived, and at that moment, I didn't care. So we didn't start the war we wanted, but I'm sure we'll figure out something else. Besides, we have a new member to the team, and now Erik has taken over as our leader.
"Wait here," he says, "I'll return in a moment."
He then left the room and the blue girl started to remove her outfit, an action that quickly sent Azazel and Janos out of the room. Why she did so, I have no idea, but hey, now that she joined us, she probably didn't want to wear her old team's uniform.
"Well, it's about time you came around," Tempest says, playfully elbowing her.
"I just needed a little more time to figure things out," she responded.
"You two know each other?" I asked.
"This is Raven," Tempest says, "you met her when you attacked the CIA base and recruited me."
Raven suddenly turned into the blonde girl, and that's when the memory clicked. "I see now, you're her,"I respond, "Welcome to the team, Raven."
"Thanks," she responds, returning to her blue form, "but I prefer to be called Mystique now."
Erik returned in a red suit with a purple cape behind him, and his helmet had also ben recolored. "Where are the others?" he asked.
"Azazel! Janos!" I call, "Get in here!"
Janos hesitantly entered the room and was at my side, Azazel following and standing next to Tempest.
"So, first thing's first," Erik starts, "I remember Angel, but the three of you, what do you call yourselves?"
"Well, Azazel's just Azazel," Janos responds, "she's Tsunami, I'm Riptide."
"And you," I add, "are the Hellfire Club's new leader, am I right?"
"You are," Erik says, "but that name is not to be used anymore."
"What are we gonna be called then?" Tempest asks.
"How about the Brotherhood of Mutants?" Mystique suggests, "You referred to all of us as brothers and sisters on the beach."
Erik paused for a moment, thinking about it, before responding "I do like the sound of that. Now, we still need to find one more mutant, Emma."
"Your old friends at the CIA took her," I point out, "we don't know where she's being held."
"I know where they have her. Let's go."
We all joined hands and teleported to the CIA base where Tempest and Mystique were.
"Follow me," Erik says as he pulls a door away using his powers. The hallways were a bit small, so we walked single file, Erik blasting away doors, and Azazel teleporting around to take care of any agents in our path. We stopped at another door, which Erik tore down, and entered the room. The rest of us crowded the doorway to watch, and we saw Emma, in her diamond form.
"I know we've had our differences," Erik starts, pausing to let her respond.
"Where's your telepath friend?" she asks.
"Gone. Left a bit of a gap in my life. I was hoping you could help. Join us."
Emma looks over at us and returns to normal. "Erik, I believe." she answers.
"I prefer Magneto."
