I clenched my jaw trying to control my anger as I gripped the steering wheel. I could feel faith staring at me as I drove. I didn't pay her much attention because I was past pissed off.

Not only was this nigga still alive,but he burned my mama house down. And only a suicidal nigga would do some dumb ass shit like that. I kind of blamed myself though,I had the chance to kill the nigga, I had the gun right to his head...but I didn't pull the trigger.

Now he's hiding somewhere plotting even harder to get me and kobe,and he'll do anything to catch us off guard. I think this was just a warning though.

A warning that he's out for blood. And it's probably not just us...the girls too. I'll be damned if that bastard do something to hurt faith or Payton,he got me fucked up. As we turned onto the street where the fire was,I could see my mama standing in front of the house with the most saddest look on her face.

Police cars and fire trucks crowded the whole street,so we had to park at a farther distance. When I parked the car I sat there for a moment. Nobody said anything, because right now the slightest thing could make me snap.

I snapped back into reality and opened the door,kobe did the same. Before I could get out the car,faith lightly touched my shoulder making me turn around and look at her.

Faith:You need me to come with you?

Me:Nah,I'm good.

Faith:Okay...

I got out of the car,slamming the door before walking over to my mom. When she saw me she instantly broke down into tears as she held onto my shirt. I don't know about kobe,but that shit made me even madder.

Me:It's gonna be okay ma. *rubs her back*

Ms.Harris:Why did this have to happen to me king? Why? *sobs into King's shirt*

I couldn't even give her a clear answer so I just hugged her tightly and kissed her forehead as she cried more and more. A police officer walked over to us just then.

Police Officer:Excuse me,but may I speak with ms.Harris?

She lifted her head from my shirt before making her way to the officer. I turned my attention to kobe who was rubbing the bridge of his nose which indicated that he was deep in thought.

Me:We just can't catch a break can we?

Kobe:He's doing this to catch us off guard,he's planning to strike any moment at any time and we both know this. *continues rubbing nose*

Me:Not only that,but he got thing 1 and thing 2 with him.

Kobe: So what do we do now? He got ya moms and could be aiming for either us...or the girls.

Me:I don't exactly know what the next move is,but I know one thing. We ain't running nor hiding nowhere. If he's that suicidal he'll come find us where we at.

Kobe: What about ya moms? Now that Travis burned her house down where she supposed to crash?

Me:She's staying with us...I guess. I'm not getting her a hotel room nor an apartment just so that nigga can find her and kill her off for good. I'll be damned.

Kobe nodded his head in understanding. My moms and kobe always been close. Even though that wasn't her child and she wasn't his mother,they managed to build a bond between each other. Unlike me,I couldn't stand Kobe's mother but I respected her because I got respect for my brother.

Kobe:So what are we gonna tell the girls?

Me:We not gonna tell them shit because it ain't nothing to talk about. This shit ain't up for discussion! My mama staying with us,end of story.
