Chapter 13: New start

~Hi guys ^~^

Sorry for the long waaaait, I was quiet busy with school. As I said there might be a lemon this chapter ;> ~(or the next one) c;~which I will promise that would be posted next week.

Finals has been getting to me so muuuch wooork.

A lot of  things has happened in my life and I hope you guys understand. T^T

"Mika?"

"Yes?"

"Promise you won't ever leave me?"

"I promise."

Those words rang in my mind as I walked around the camp keeping my eye on Mika. He changed a lot during these past years, years since I thought I lost everything.

Mika became...

More muscular...

Taller... of course...

And very handsome...

Still being drawn to him, I tried to focus on something else but tend to always end up looking at his way once again. Staring at my uniform, I cringed thinking how he might have judged me in his perspective, someone crazy attached to him. My uniform hasn't been ironed since several washes before and hasn't been cleaned since my last mission. It simply looked horrible, quiet wrinkly including the fact my hair was a little messy.

He glanced towards this way meeting my eyes for a millisecond before he focused at someone else.

"(Y/N)?, are you listening to what I'm saying?" asked one of the guards.

"Sorry what did you say again? I didn't quiet catch that last sentence"

"More like ' I didn't catch any of it' " I thought to myself.

It was one of those moments when you had to act like you heard everything. Those moments when someone talks to you and those words just instantly comes out the other ear. In most cases, you don't really want to be bothered hearing the whole thing all over again.

"Like I said, Krul-sama wants you back in her throne room right before sunrise." He announced without bating an eyelash.

"And what would that be?"

"That's all the information I got from the queen herself." The guard replied.

Feeling a sigh going through me, I bent backward hearing my back crack loudly still keeping my eye on him.

"Very well then, I guess it's the 'Queen's orders' and I have no choice otherwise to do what she says."

Feeling a yawn escaping from my body, I closed my eyes stretching once again feeling relaxed all of sudden. I was able to open my eyes momentarily seeing the guard vanish right at front of me.

Curiosity filled my head thinking how cool it would be to vanish in thin air. Even though it's been years living this way, I've never been able to do some of those fancy yancy tricks.

Seeing the sky turn from midnight blue to a dark orange colour, I hurriedly walked towards Mika. In all honesty, I didn't really expect the out-of-the-blue command from Krul this morning. The meeting between Mika and I could be put into hold depending how long she's gonna keep holding onto me.

Mika was looking towards my way, the look of confusion being plastered on his face as I got closer towards him.

"Mika, I have to be away for a while. The queen told me to go into her chambers right after sunrise so I hope you understand." I quietly said looking down onto my feet playing with the rims of my uniform before feeling a hand lifting my chin.

"I understand (Y/N)." Mika calmly said before letting go as he turned and walked away. Twisting his body halfway revealing his bright blue sapphire eyes, he opened his mouth slightly before he closed it once again.

"Mika..."

"I'll still wait for you, I want some time, alone, between you and me," He replied,

"Once your done, I'll be waiting at front of her throne room for you." Walking away making his white cape flow behind him, he entered an abandoned building making him less visible. Some abandoned buildings these days were able to lead back into the dark royal chambers underground.

"Then I'll be looking forward to that then Mika." I thought smiling to myself rushing back towards to the entrance to the white corridor. The boots I wore clicked onto the marbled floor as they both contacted together creating a repeated sounds before entering the city.

Passing by kids in the city, I wasn't able to still get used to their frightened faces  scared for their lives. Passing by them, one by one, they would stop on what they're doing and look at me, staring at me like I'll bite them.

"Nevermore." Someone quietly said before I laid my hand on the door knob of the large mansion.

"Before sunrise huh... more like after sunrise." I whispered to myself feeling a sweat drop down my forehead.

"(Y/N)-chan~,I could smell your sweet and beautiful scent right after you entered the castle~." Ferid cooed trying to get my hand and kiss it.

"We talked about this Ferid, scents can't be beautiful." I announced walking towards the stairs,

"You see darling, your scent is beautiful because your -"

"I don't have time for this, sorry for my manners but I'm in a hurry-," feeling a slap against my butt cheek, my face started to heat up making it turn red in the process.

"I swear-" turning around seeing him gone, my eyes twitched scanning around the room trying to find where he went.

"That was pretty cool I got to admit"

"Aren't you gonna open the door and come in (Y/N)?" Krul shouted making me hear from the other side of the door.

"Coming."

If I could ever show how sorry I am, I would make a chapter for that.
