Dear Aubree,
7. days. left.
I cooked your favorite meal again.
"Thank you!" you squeal, taking a bite. I laugh. "You're always welcome."
You finished it within minutes only.
"God, that was the best meal I've had in my life," you laugh. I chuckle.
"Hey, let's go to the bakeshop. I want to bake," you said. I nodded. "Let's go," I said.

We went home, setting all the ingredients and materials on the table.
We started baking. We were making red velvet cupcakes.
You were opening some kind of packing using a cutter. I was mixing some ingredients in a bowl.
And then I heard you shout in pain.
My eyes widened and I immediately rushed over to you. You were gripping your finger and blood was dripping onto the floor.
I quickly went and got the first aid kit. I told you to sit down while I clean and fix your wound.
"This is gonna sting," I warned. You nodded. I take a deep breath and clean the wound using a damp cloth. You hiss in pain, and harshly rested your head on my shoulder.
"It hurts," you hissed.
"I know," I said quietly, continuing to dab the cloth on your finger.
Your face moved closer to my neck and face. You hissed in pain again.
I was bandaging your hand already, carefully holding your hand. You started breathing back to normal as I finished.
"God," you said as you lifted your head while I turned around to look at you.
Our lips brushed.
I froze, my eyes flicking back and forth between your eyes and lips.
Our faces stayed still for a little
while.
And then, you kissed me.
My hand went from yours to your cheek.
You pushed me away.
"I love you," you said.
"I love you too."
You moved your hand quickly, rubbing your cheek. You shed a few tears.
You smiled.7 days left and you were going away...
And I still love you. Even if I know that I won't get the chance to make you stay.Love,
Kim Seokjin
