"Patrolling tonight?" Sandrine's Aunt questions as she walks into the room. I nod, shrugging my shoulders. I always patrol, it's no big deal. "Really? I figured that since you and Harry-"

"Harry is the way he is for a reason. The other vampires aren't. They need to die." I say, packing up the rest of my weapons. She nods and tells us to be careful. We nod and leave the house.

We get to the cemetery a little before 10pm. I sit down next to Sandrine and we wait.

Suddenly, we hear a scream and I take off, Sandrine right behind me. We get to an alley and I see a women pushed up against the wall with a vampire about to bite into her neck. I swing into action and jump on the vamp, knocking him to the floor. I notice Sandrine going to help the women and turn my full attention to the vampire in front of me.

Before he could react, I jumped on him, staking him straight in the heart.

"Your Highness?" He frowns right before turning to dust. I frown, looking at the pile of dust.

Your Highness? What?

Sandrine rushes over to me, concern written all over her face.

"Are you okay?" She asks, but, I don't say anything because I don't know myself. I quickly stand up, looking at the frightened women in front of me.

"Make sure that she gets home. I need to see Harry." I say, rushing off and heading for the castle.

When I got to the castle, the guards let me straight through and I went to Harry's office. Instead of knocking, I just let myself in. I found him over his desk, working hard.

He looked up when he heard the door open. He sent me a little smile and I smiled right back at him.

"Hali. Is everything okay?" He asked and I shook my head.

"I was out patrolling tonight and the vamp that I staked called me 'your Highness'. What is going on, Harry?" I ask and Harry sighs.

"Since word got out that you're my mate, my people automatically think that you are their Queen. However, if word gets out that their King's mate kills vampires, they could band against you." Harry explains and I scoff.

"I'm a slayer, Harry. I'm not about to be a Queen to the very things that I despise." I tell him and I can see that his has clenched.

"You're my mate. We will eventually have to mate, get married, have children and have you knighted. If we don't, it will be a disgrace to the Goddess, you know that." He says, but, I shake my head.

"I refuse to be Queen." I say and he nods.

"I was hoping that it wouldn't come to this. Liam!" Seconds later, the door opens and a man steps in. He has brown choppy hair and brown eyes, he's quite muscular too. "Please take Hali to my bedroom. She is not to leave." Harry tells him and he nods. I turn back to Harry with a frown on my face.

I'm suddenly lifted into his arms. I thrashed around, finally managing to get free. I withdraw my stake and stake him right in the heart.

Although, just like Louis, the stake just sticks out of his chest. I turn back to Harry, who has now stood up.

"What are you people?" I ask, but, he waves his hand and I'm lifted into his arms again and taken out of the office.

"Haz, mate. Do you really think that forcing the poor girl against her will is going to make her love you?" Niall asks and I lowly growl, frustrated.

"I don't have a choice! My Father will come for her and he will kill her. The future of this Kingdom depends on an heir. If Hali refuses to do any of this, what choice do I have?" I ask and Niall shrugs.

"Maybe she would think differently if the vampires that belong to this Kingdom, stopped killing humans. We can get our blood from hospitals, we've done it before?" He suggests and I sigh, knowing that he's right.

"You're right. I just hope that it's enough." I say and he nods.
