Present Time

I wake up and my head hurts like crazy. As soon as I lift my head crazy thoughts run through my head.

Magic, hot guy, hot guy, hoy guy, and MAGIC. I jump up and look around I seem to be alone... Wait no I hear voices in the kitchen.

"Axel I know that Alice has lots of potential, but don't you think the lay gate was to rash?" I hear my mom ask.

"My apologies Madam Ximena, but Headmaster Rowan wants her to be in the academy as soon as possible." I hear Axel reply.

"But she hasn't even had her first shift yet!" I hear my dad snap.

"Madam Ximena can help with that."Axel whispers.

"There is no way-"

"It is the law Madam." Axel cuts in sharply.

"It will be painful." My mom sniffles.

"Just as it was for every other shifter in the world." Axel replies icily.

"Ok I will do it." my mom says confidently.

I pull away from the door what is a shift? How is it painful.

Suddenly I sprout little white hairs all over my body, I feel my face elongating itself into a long snout and my ears bending and pointing. I scream an ear splitting scream "MOMMY MAKE IT STOP!" and shriek again as both my legs break and I fall to the floor I try to push myself up but fail to because every bone in my arm breaks and molds into paws tears stream down my dog like face as my nails rip into claws. Then my spine breaks and my world goes dark......

5 Hours later

"Is she waking up?" I hear my mother whisper.

"Mommy?" I try to whisper but it comes out as a bark.
Ok... A bark? why am I standing on paws? Why am I hairy? I shaved yesterday morning! I look at my mother expectantly.

"Well honey I think it's time you knew the family secret, well we are not normal." she says waving her fingers transforming me back to normal and throwing a blanket at me because, apparently shifting into a massive beast will shred your clothes.

naw who'd a think it. I snort out loud sounding kinda like a sneezing dog "Well", she continues "You are both a shifter and a witch." She pauses before saying, "Axel here is a warlock and he is here to take you to the House of Diana."!

"Hey aren't you the guy who kidnaped me and dragged me through a portal against my will?" I gush with fake enthusiasm.

"That wouldn't have had to happen if you hadn't started sprinting." He replies cockily "Now pack your bags dear Alice we leave tomorrow."

"Wait why tomorrow??" My mom cries.

"You have kept the head master waiting long enough, it's only fair." He shrugs grabbing me by the arm and dragging me to my room. He opens the door and pushes me in.
"Pack." is all he says as he turns on his heels and walks out the door.

1 hour later

Now that I have packed all my clothes I put on my black t-shirt and some pink shorts and go down to grab a bite. Rummaging through the fridge I look for my Ben and Jerry's Cinnamon Bun Ice-cream

No,no,no, I ran out of ice-cream. I sigh sadly and turn around but when I turn around, I see a picture perfect pint of my ice-cream.

How weird. I think to my self as I look for a spoon.

GOD DAMN I CAN'T FIND A SPOON! I huff angrily as I turn around only to get hit in the head with a spoon that appeared out of now where. What is happening to me? Do I have freakin' super powers?!

Wait.... my mom is a witch which (no pun intended) means that I have magical powers!

Now I need a bowl and whipped cream. I say in my head and close my eyes, concentrating on a picture of a bottle of whipped cream and a bowl bigger than my head. Suddenly I feel a tug in my gut and the feeling of pure energy running through my veins. Once I open my eyes I see a big blue bowl and a huge size of whipped cream.

"HOLY CHICKEN NUGGET I JUST DID THAT, SOMEBODY CALL MY MOM!"I scream excitedly.

"Alice, sweetie are you okay?" My dad calls as he my mom and Axel rush through the kitchen door.

"Mom I just made food appear! The ice cream and whipped cream, then the bowl and the spoon!" I giggle excitedly waggling my fingers.

"I wonder what else I can do." I say concentrating.

"I wonder if I can move stuff!" I exclaim trying to tip the pint bucket upside down to put all the ice cream in a bowl. I wait in anticipation furrowing my eyebrows.

Okay. Now I'm pissed, behind me I hear Axel snicker.

"What a dumb ass." I grumble.

Wait! now I want a snicker

"Alice honey stop!"I hear my mom call out.

Huh?Stop what? I wonder opening my eyes, only to realize that I was up to my knees in Snickers Bars.
