Jale + Phan Oneshot

Chapter One

"Alright guys, see ya later!" Kale said goodbye to all of his viewers as he and Jack ended their Live.ly broadcast.

"That was fun, but what do you want to do now?" Jack asked.

"I dunno." Kale replied "We could go to the mall and just hang out, or grab some food."

"But like not as a date." Jack specified.

"Not as a date. We have dinner dates because we're friends. That's what friends do." Kale confirmed.

The two boys honestly couldn't see why so many people shipped Jale. It wasn't a thing. It isn't a thing. They're just friends. I mean yeah they do cuddle sometimes and hug and hold hands, but all manly bro friends did that occasionally. Right?

"Well I'm starving, so lets head to the mall and grab some food." Kale decided and Jack grabbed his keys as the two headed for the car.

The boys got to the mall and decided to have dinner at Chipotle. Of course they each payed for their own meals because they're not dating. And even if they were dating, their relationship would be one based on equality.

After they finished their dinner, they had some time to kill, so they decided to walk around the mall just browsing the shops.

"Ooh Jack! We should go in Build-A-Bear!" Kale exclaimed as they walked towards the brightly colored storefront.

"Kale that store is for preschoolers. Please don't make me go in there." Jack tried, but already knew that when Kale wanted something, there was no changing his mind.

Like Jack predicted, Kale started pouting and crossed his arms over his chest and stood in the middle of the crowded isle.

Jack relented. "Alright fine. But if anyone sees us in there, I'm telling them it was your decision!"

"Yay!" Kale jumped excitedly and kissed Jack on the cheek, who just rolled his eyes and followed the excited boy into the store.

"C'mon Kale, what are you even looking for?" Twenty minutes later and Jack was definitely annoyed at Kale's inability to decide on a teddy bear.

"It has to be perfect." Kale insisted.

After much begging and pleading, Jack agreed to let Kale pick out a teddy bear, because you know, sometimes Jack liked to buy his best friend things.

"This one!" Kale exclaimed picking out a very fluffy tan teddy bear. "Now I get to stuff it! C'mon Jack!" Kale pulled Jack's hand, dragging him to the stuffing station.

"First you stuff it, like this." Kale instructed, starting to fill up the teddy bear.

"And now its full, so we get to put the heart in." Kale grabbed a heart from the bin next to the stuffing machine and kissed it.

"You have to kiss it too Jack." Kale held out the heart.

Jack took the heart and kissed it, but dropped it as a look of shock crossed over his face.

"Jack! Be careful!" Kale cautioned, picking up the heart and placing it inside the bear before turning to see what had made Jack drop the heart so suddenly.

Of all the people in the world that could be at the next station, the fluffing station, it was Dan Howell and Phil Lester, with their own bear.

"Lets go say hi!" Kale suggested, already walking over. Jack had no choice but to follow.

"Hi! I'm Kale!" Kale introduced himself to the YouTube celebrities.

"Oh shit. I thought for sure we wouldn't be found in here." Dan exclaimed, already looking uncomfortable by the unexpected meeting.
