CHAPTER ONE: Jake ~ Amnesia
I awoke, desperatly grasping for air. I layed in an alley, and the appalling stench that inhabited it. I couldn't remember much at the time, for it must've been amnesia. I walked down the sand colored sidewalk, looking for any signs of intelligence. Along the way I passed many peculiar places. Like one that said: "Conservation House Location 0196" I tried to stay sane . Obviously, something was wrong.
I approached a residential building which seriously reeked with ransidity. I slowly opened the door very carefully and quiely, just in case anyone dozing wouldn't be startled. I walked acrossed the beautifuly delicatly crafted cherry wood floors. The farther I walked, the worse the smell. The rooms had handy supplies in them. Swiss army knifes, drills with bits, axes, fire extinguishers, etc. As walked in the direction the arrows on the green and white signs told me to go, I realized the place was a hospital... and the smell was dead corpses.
Nobody. That dreadful, heart-pounding, breath-taking dreary-feeling of nobody. I walked into a room filled with filing cabinets. Any information on this place or what was going on would be great. And, thank the Lord, was plentiful.
There were a lot of documents for patients, many of which, had perished. (That definetly explains that smell...) I thought. My mind fluttering as my memory started coming back. Yet, still not many looked familiar. Heck, what good would it do if they're dead? Not much, I suppose. The name of the clinic was "Survival 4 All!" So to me, that was very ironic.
A lot of the records had a red stamp with 'Due to Plan Z' on them. I searched down the halls for rooms 278 and 284; of which held Crystal Jackson and Paul Zake- teenagers that weren't labeled deceased. That name - Crystal... I just couldn't remember her. Something was trying to give me information, but the way my body felt, I was lucky to remember how to breathe. I had found a shotgun above the fireplace in the lobby, which I loaded and grasped tightly in my hands. I found room 278. i got in combat position, kicked the door down, and was unfortunatly astonished at what I saw.
