I sat in the car listning to "Safe and Sound". Jerome sung the corus, making my heart melt. Why in the heavens did I have to fall for him? I knew that I couldn't have him, even if he really liked me. I just had to be a fudging faggot. "Mitch?" I heard him whisper, concern flashing in his eyes. "Are you sure that you're alright?". I could see that he wanted me to tell him that i was alright. Maybe something had happened to him, maybe another person hurt him....

*Le Jerome Flashback of fabulous*

I walked home, waiting for my parents to leave. Maybe they wouldn't make fun of me. They knew very well that I was openly gay, and if they didn't accept it, I was alright with it. Just because they didn' love me, doesn't mean i didn't have to love the right? Beside's, my boyfriend, Ezekiel, would be waiting to come over after they left. He said it was really important, so I really was excited. He never said anything like that before, so I didn't know what to expect. My house came into vieu and my heart faltered. I father was standing outside, speaking to Zeke. "If you don't leave him, I'll kill you, faggot" my father snarled. I could see rage coursing through my father's eyes. "Fine. Just do me a favor?" Zeke responded. "Uh.... What is it?" My father barely got those words out before Zeke threw him to me ground and started kicking him in the side. "go to the hospital, please." Zeke finally responded, then patting my father on the shoulder, walked towards me. "I cant see you anymore. Sorry" he said, and just like that, he was gone. The one person I could say anything to, gone forever. What the hell did I do to deserve this? I sat down onthe hot pavement and a tear fell from my eye. "Jerome, get the [place f-word here] up and help me." my father snarled, blood leaking from his mouth. I nodded, got up, then helped him to the house. When we got to the front door, he turned around with a look of disgust on his face. "You're not welcom here. Get your things and move out, otherwise they'll be in the trash." He said, the coldness in his eyes unbearable. I nodded, trembling, afraid to speak because my voice would betray me. I gathered my things, and with a last look at my family, left my home. Or atleast what was left of it.

*Le end of Jerome flashback*

I sat there, looking at Jerome, trying to read his expretion. His eyes had glaed over, losing some of their usual warmth. I reached over and grabbed his hand. "Biggums, you alright?" I asked him, worry clear in my voice. He turned and gave me a suprized look. "Biggums?" he asked, confusion showing clearly on his features. I gave his hand another light sqeeze before letting go of him. That was the moment i would regret for the rest of my life.....
