Two months before we get to go home we did a routine search through a small town. The search dog walked along with us. The leader motioned for us to halt and let the dog search first. He gave a bark and we walked through. We motioned for the people to exit the houses.

One house had a small family in it. I could not help but to start thinking of my boys and a tear ran down my cheek. I wiped it away and stood up tall.

All of a sudden a heavy set man runs up to me and all I hear is a loud Boom as he steps on a mine buried into the ground a few feet in front of me. It sends me flying. I hit my head on a wall of a house and I black out. A few moments later I wake up and all I see is blood and rubble. I go in and out of consciousness as some of my comrades lift me up and set me on a stretcher. They carry me to camp. I am mumbling things and the guys around me keep saying "It's going to be okay." "You are going to be okay, Dean." I black out completely.

A few minutes later I wake up in a hospital with tubes and wires all over my body. I try to talk and a tube is down my throat so all that comes out is "aagagaga." A nurse comes over and takes out the tube. "Thank You. Where am I?"

"Saint Mary's Hospital."

"What happened? Why am I in here?"

"All I know is that you were in an accident. You have been in a coma for 2 weeks. You lost a lot of blood so your brother helped you but we didn't think you would survive, but your husband insisted on keeping you hooked up. I guess it was the right choice. I mean here you are."

"Well thank you. Where is everyone?"

"Well the only one that has stayed here is your husband and don't worry we have made sure he has gotten the right nutrition for the baby. Right now he in the cafeteria eating lunch."

"Thank God and thank you again. He is quite stubborn sometimes."

Castiel then walked (kinda waddled) into the room. He looked kinda sad until he looked at me, then his face lit up like a Christmas tree. Walked over to me and tried to hug me but I had to many wires on me. "Dean! How are you feeling?"

"I was so worried."

"Thank you, Baby. Look at you. Being pregnant makes you look amazing."

"Thank you. It is your baby after all." He rubs his belly and smiles. "He/she is a kicker that is for sure."

I put my hand on his bump and as if on command the baby kicked my hand. "Don't worry I am home, now." I looked down at my feet and noticed something kinda off. I lifted the sheet and I saw one leg and a half.

"The explosion blew it off" Castiel started crying.

"The good new is that you can get a prosthetic for free because your insurance covers it." The nurse said.

"Well that is good. I'd like to get it as soon as I can."

"We can do that as soon as your body gets the nutrients you need."

"Great, What do I need to do?"
