She was falling.
Bright lights shimmered all around her, and for a moment she felt that, no, she wasn't falling, she was flying.
She could barely breathe. It was beautiful.
She twisted her body so that she was facing the way she came, and she saw the giant white light wink out.
"It's gone," She whispered.
Again she turned, looking ahead of her. Another light flickered into existence, just in front of her.
A faint smile played upon her lips. It would take her soon. She turned to where the last gateway had been.
"Mitchum!" she called, "I'm coming back, I promise!" She paused.
The light of the gateway swallowed her before the last three words could escape her throat.
