"Miya, get your nose out of that book now!" My mother yelled at me. I groaned at I put my owl bookmark in between the pages. I sat it on the bench and looked up at the crowd formed around me.

My mother nudged me. "Smile!" She whisper-shouted. I rolled my eyes and pulled a fake smile onto my face and glanced around the room.

A flash blinded me momentarily as pictures were being taken of my family. Girls fangirled over my younger brother Caleb. I sighed. Why are we getting surrounded you ask?

My Mother is an actress and my father is a lawyer. Me and Caleb follow them along to "get famous too". I have told my parent I dont really want to be famous but they don't ever listen.

Caleb has told me before that he doesn't like being famous. He never tells our parents. In public he acts like he loves the attention. He even flirts with fangirls passing by.

Really though he is a good kid and the best twin. Yeah you heard me. He is my twin.

I am older than him by ten minutes. Really though he acts older than me. I act like a little five year old while he acts like our age.

We are also polar opposites. He likes sports, he hates books and he sometimes isn't very smart.

Me on the other hand, I hate even running, books are my whole life, and I know way more than him.

There is a couple of things we have in common though.

We have blonde hair, blue eyes, and we love to talk. One other thing is that we have magic. No one but us knows. Not even our parents know, because, well they would tell the whole world. Then bad things might happen.

The only other person that knows is my best friend Ryuu. We met at a park when I was 5. It was the only time that mother took us somewhere to actually have fun. I remember that I had fell off of the swings and Ryuu had helped me up.

He invited me to play with him and we became best friends. I invited him to my house, which he thought was amazing since it was huge.

We have been best friends for 7 years now. He usually comes over to my house every weekend unless mother and father are home. He doesn't like them much. I don't blame him.

Mother and father treat mine and calebs friends bad. They say that they can't have our blood mixed with stupid people. Ha too late!(because they are stupid people)

Anyways, when people started to leave I picked up my book. Mother smacked it out of my hands.

"Hey you lost my page!" I whined. By looking at her face I could tell I shouldn't even start. I looked away shaking my head.

When everyone was outside mother motioned for us to get up. I sighed again and stood up brushing off my ugly hot pink dress.

We walked slowly down the stage. "Remember to SMILE" mother snarled into my ear.

I nodded. We walked out to door and many cheers rose in the crowd. Many people took pictures and some even tried to reach out to us.

I smiled but I hated this. I hated all of it. Every single thing about this was boring.

We walked on the side walk until we came to our shiny black limo. One of my parents servants opened the door and bowed.
