"STRIP" she yelled. I took off my dress hesitantly and threw it to her bed. I looked down embarrassed.
Suddenly pain tore through my stomach. Over and over, she hit me. Only on my stomach so no one saw.
She grabbed my chin and lifted it up towards her brown eyes. I was trying hard to act tough, not flinching at the hits or crying. I have to win this.
"Now you listen to me girl. You have to act like my child. You are going to stop reading your stupid books and stop playing your stupid games, and get attention."
She removed her hand from under my chin. She put the belt on the bed and threw my dress at me. I quickly slipped it on and ran out the door.
I ran all the way to my room and relocked the door. I whistled and Caleb crawled out from behind millions of pink and purple hideous dresses.
"you ok?" He asked softly.
I nodded. I crawled into my bed and put my face into a pillow.
Caleb sat next to me. He patted my shoulder unsure what to do.
"We have to run away. We can't stay with her." I whispered.
"Yeah. I know."
I got up. I used my magic to put some of my belongings into a, umm, how do I put this? It is kinda like another universe, filled with nothing, so I can put whatever I want in. Food in there will never spoil, nothing ages. It is really complicated.
I grabbed my chest from under my bed and took out my stash of money. There was so much hundred dollar bills that I had to grab three handfuls.
I finished getting my things and planned how we were going to escape.
I unlocked the door and we ran to calebs room. When we got to his room he slammed his door shut and locked it. He put his things into his universe thing. Then I flopped onto his bed and sighed.
A while later I was in my room. I was looking around at my walls; the memories here were put up every where. I drew on the walls, wrote on the walls, making my world beautiful.
Pictures of anime characters hung in clusters. I had watched a lot of them, they are also my life! stop judging me with your judging eyes. Ya you. You with the face there.
When darkness engulfed my room, I pulled out my phone. I looked through pictures of me and Ryuu. Ryuu's brown eyes shone in every picture. Heh we took a lot of selfies together!

"Miya! Wake up! Before mother comes! C'mon!" Caleb called. Confused, I sat up and rubbed my eyes. Caleb grabbed my hand and tried yanking me out of bed.
"You need to stop eating chocolate and watching Netflix!" He laughed.
I perked up.
"EXUSE MEH! I ISN'T FAT K?" I yelled.
"Ok sorry!" He said with a smirk.
A maid named Aislyn dug through my closet to get a dress for a red carpet shoot. Ugh gross. She chose a red strapless dress with ruffles around the waist. Disgusting. I. Hate. Dresses.
The worst part about my out fit was the heels. Black heels, about six inches high threatened to kill me. When I get married, I am not wearing heels. They are murder weapons for me.
I slowly made my way to the kitchen. Mother, father,and Caleb were already sitting at the table.
I grabbed a banana and sat down. I unpeeled it and gulped it down. No time to take my time. Still got to finish our plan.
I stayed deep in thought while mother chatted with father quietly.
Honk!
The driver let us know it was time to leave. I sighed. This was going to be fun. Note the sarcasm.
We climbed into the limo and soon after arrived at the place. Among the crowd, I seen a brown haired brown eyes teenager. Hmm wonder who that is. Ha ok it is Ryuu. Mah besteh.
Ryuu waved to me. I smiled at him and waved back. Suddenly loud noises echoed through the the crowd. People started ducking, and Ryuu looked as if he was having a panick attack.
Guns rang out and father dropped, blood pouring out of his stomach. More shots went off as the shooter wasn't very good aim. Mother eventually fell, already dead.
I hugged Caleb close and practically dragged him to Ryuu. We ducked down to Ryuu and I grasped his hand. His arm was drenched in blood. Tears streamed down his face.
I ripped the fabric from my dress and wrapped it firmly but gently around his wound. People were running around by now.
Suddenly a man with a scar across his eye yanked Caleb away from me. My eyes widened.
"LET HIM GO YOU CREEP!" I yelled. He smirked, tilting his head.
"what was that little girl? You want me to let him go? Too.bad." He snickered.
"let him go!" I clenched my teeth. The man shook his head.
A girl emerged from the crowd. Her long brown hair danced around her. Ryuu gasped. Her green eyes shone with hate as she came closer to Ryuu. I quickly stood up and blocked her view to Ryuu.
"Get out of my way Miya."She flashed one of her evil smiles.
I clenched my fists. "Why would I. You can't hurt me. You. Can't hurt him either. I can destroy you Rin." She looked up into my eyes.
"I can hurt whoever I want. And I was just going to talk to him. Can't a girl just talk to her big brother?" She turned to mr. scar dude. His smile grew wider. His grip on a flailing Caleb tightened.

I have quarterly assessments, so with the stress of that, and co author chan trying to edit a chapter that isn't even made, it became pretty hard to do it. Co-author-chan here! Well...author-butthead wouldn't let me see the chapter at all. She even kicked me in the face when I tried to get to her phone to read it! I just realized Miya is a lot like me. lol I will stay up watching Netflix and eating chocolate. Also watch out, because author-butthead might make a few (a lot) of reference.
