Love is invisible until you look closely

I start singing 'Savior' by Black Veil Brides. When I get to class and all I can feel is all there eyes on my lip, that is healing but hurts. The teacher asks why I am late and I tell him that I was in the nurses " Okay well do I even dare ask you why or do I not want to know? Never mind, just take your seat. It is the one right next to James's seat"

I look over and see that James is the boy that had beaten me up. I walk over and just as I was about to sit down the speaker comes on and said they ask for me to go to the music room for a meeting. I get up leaving my things in the room and walk down the hallway seeing a sign that points to the music room. I get to the door seeing a large mane of hair and a woman talking from what I can see, I'm guessing is the music teacher. She is holding the head phones that look like they would go to the recording booth. "Andrew Beirsack would like to do a song with you, if you want?"

" Yes...I...would love to" I say in astonishment.

"Cool so all you need to do is sing the lyrics but Andrew did say that you had already knew the song."

"What song will I be singing with him?"

She doesn't say anything to me just points to the empty booth. I put on the headphones and hear the start of 'Savior' ! I get to the part where the singing starts, I try my best, but I don't think I did very well. But by the looks that I get from Andy and the music teacher, they must think differently about it. I walk out and ask them how I did. "Jinx your voice is beautiful and perfect. How old are you?"

I told him that I was a senior and was in my last year of school, and that I would be 18 on November 19th. I see both there jaws drop and I start to blush. I see the music teacher walk up to me and say thank you that will be all for now. I give Andy another hug and leave. This time walking back into the classroom isn't as bad. I go through the rest of the day perfectly without any issues.
