- (23 Oct 2016) I was absent for years here in Watty and for that I am deeply saddened. It is not entirely due to my busy working schedule but may also be attributed to laziness (I guess). I believe there is no such thigs as writer's block but laziness and for that I am very disappointed with myself. With that aside, I will try to be back on my feet and update my stories. I just don't know which one yet.

- So here I am now in Manila, away from my family, living alone. And one time, I just roamed around Marikina Riverbanks (near where I currently live) and the switch just click for a story. I don't really know what's going to happen in the end or the way the plot would go but I'm excited nevertheless. Maybe it's the Christmas lights (even if I'm not a Christian) or the liveliness of the place due to the bazaar, the food feast and rides (I will be frequenting the place to get more inspirations). I still don't know what this story will be about, except for it being boylove, but anyway, in all my stories, I'm just like any of my readers, not knowing what will happen. I was just inspired with all the lovers roaming around holding each other hands or hips... I hope I can translate it on my writing though.

CHAPTER 01 – Revenge

"Earphones, check. Running App, check." I latched my newly bought phone on my arm using an armband then connected it with the earphones. I then turned the music on with mostly Spanish songs on the playlist and started lip-syncing with Daddy Yanke's Limbo while warming my body up.

I stretched my arms towards the sky and noticed the horizon starting to lighten up into a different shade of pink. The sun hasn't showed up yet but the cold in the air had started to fade. When a few beads of sweat started crawling from my forehead down I knew my body was already wide awake.

"I'm ready," I announced to no one and then started my running application. I progressed from a slow walk then increased the pace until I was on a full sprint. Five minutes later, I slowed into a normal jog as my breathing became harsh and my body wet in sweat. I continued until I was at Marikina Bike Trail joining a bunch of other joggers and bikers in their morning activity. One thing to love about Marikina is the Park beside Marikina river where joggers and bikers congregate for either a morning or an afternoon exercise.

I continued to jog for another two kilometers before finally slowing to a walk when my virtual boyfriend, the guy speaking in the app, told me I already completed my fair share of five kilometers. And just when I stopped, something hit me on my left elbow.

"Shit!" I cursed as my body was slightly pushed to the side of the road. Thankfully, I had recovered my balance and didn't end being thrown farther and maybe float on the river.

"Sorry," I heard from the person who bumped into me but when I turned to face him, he had already moved five meters ahead. And continued to do so without even glancing back.

"Jerk!" I cursed as I kicked on the grass while mentally throwing knives on the back of that guy wearing a White Nike Jersey. My good day had just started turning sour.

"Don't worry Sebby. This is still a good day... the best day." I mentally coached myself. "Breath in..." I then took in a good amount of air and released it all out. "And out... and in... and out..." I repeated the mantra to totally forget about the bad vibes.

After a few minutes of walking, I stopped at a small gathering of people around a sidewalk vendor. I walked near the small table on the side of the road and chose from a variety of food. There were boiled saba banana, boiled sweet potato, boiled egg, rice cakes and candies. I bought three boiled eggs and started removing the shells. I had just finished eating two of them throwing away the yolks when I saw White Jersey guy coming back, still jogging.

"The Jerk," I cursed again.

But as I followed his nearing figure with my eyes, I immediately got an idea. I'm not usually evil but I still want my revenge, sometimes. So I rapidly finished shelling the last egg and put it whole in my mouth while my eyes were glued on White Jersey guy passing me. I crushed the egg in my mouth tasting the sweet yolk and the delicious impending revenge, then turned into jogging mode.

I shadowed him for a short two minutes then I started increasing my pace. When I saw my chance, without him expecting, I bumped into him like he did to me, harder if I might add. I then said sorry, not even glancing. Before I heard a hard splash in the water.

I turned around and I couldn't see White Jersey guy anywhere.

"Where did he...?" and suddenly I came to realize that I might had just pushed him off to the river. I rushed towards the edge of the road and near the river to see if he was okay. But I was meet by a death glare from a guy standing on the river with his body half submerged in brown water.

"Sorry," I chirped shrinking and turning away immediately. I then dashed as fast as I had ever done before in my whole life wishing that he hadn't seen my face clearly.

"Shit, I am never going back here again." || END of Chapter 01
