4. Knock Out

RRRRIINNGGGG

I sighed. The sound to the alarm clock was annoying. As I reached to turn off the sound my father started to yell.

"Jessica turn off that fucking alarm clock now before I come in there and turn it off for you, you little cunt face bitch!", I sighed I hated my father.

I turned off the alarm and got up. I put on my slippers, shut the door and went to my closet. I looked around and finally found some black jeggings, a white tank top and a tan half sleeve shawl with some short length tan leather boots with heels.

I went to my restroom to take a shower. After that I brushed my teeth, put on my clothes comb my hair, and put on my makeup.

I grabbed my handbag, my keys and my phone. I locked the door and went to my black bugatti. On the way to school I bought me and Leanne a Starbucks coffee.

I pulled into my regular parking spot. As I got out the car Leanne was waiting for me.

"Hey what took you so long?", she chuckled.

"We still have 20 minutes till school starts.", I gave her, her coffee and we started walking to the basketball courts.

"So has Juan asked you out yet?", I asked.

"No, but I heard that he was gonna ask me out to the A night at the beach dance.", she said in a chirpy voice.

"I don't think I'm gonna go to the dance."

"Why not?"

"Well first of all I don't have date..."

"A lot of boys asked you to the dance.", she interrupted.

"Secondly I don't want to go to the dance I-I ... I just need to be alone that day, and that's final."

"Ok ok I'm not gonna argue.", we both laughed.It stopped after we heard a commotion with the boys at the end of the basketball courts.

We turned to see that it was Jonathan Levine. Yelling over some ball. When he seen us staring he smiled and grabbed the ball from the other boy and went straight for the hoop, but he missed and the game continued like nothing happened. I wish girls were like that.

BBOOOPPP

The bell rang and me and Leanne got up threw away our Starbucks coffee and went our separate ways.

"Till we meet again!", I yelled.

"Till we meet again my beautiful best friend!", she yelled and turned away.

I arrived at my first period class, which was English. I sat in the back and 2 minutes later class started. Since we had a substitute we watched a movie. Once it begun I immediately told the person next to me, which had to be Jonathan Levine, to wake me up when the bell rang. Then I fell asleep.

I woke up to the sound of someone taking pictures of something. To my surprise it was Jonathan taking pictures of me while I was asleep.I stared at him waiting for him to say something. He just kept staring and smiled then stared at the movie that was on.

"Umm why were you taking pictures of me while I was asleep?"

"I thought you were beautiful while you were asleep and you were gonna wake up soon and I decided that a picture will last longer. So I took a picture of you.", he smiled like everything was okay.

The sub looked our way and told us to be quiet or else we were gonna get detention. Jonathan and I both looked at each other and made eye contact. I looked away and started to watch the movie

My phone buzzed and I reached for it in my hand bag. I got a text from Jonathan asking "Will you go to the dance with me?" with a picture of me asleep and him at the beach with his white and blue surfboard. His expression made him look... hot. I mean he was handsome, with his blonde hair and blue eyes. He was total flirt. He always had a crush on me since 4th grade. I never felt the same, until now.

I looked his way and met his eyes. He looked gullible. I turned back to my phone and started to type in the word yes, then I clicked send and started to smile. I looked at him and he gave me a smirk.

After the bell rang Jonathan put his arm around me and walked me to my next class which was P.E. Once he dropped me off and kissed me on my cheek. All the questions came rolling in, especially Leanne.

"Did he ask you to the dance?, When did you start dating him, How come after all those times he asked you out you say yes?", Everbody kept asking and asking. I finally got everyone to calm down after I yelled.

"Look he asked me too the dance and said yes is that a big deal to all of you, no offense Leanne.", I almost yelled it but managed to keep my voice loud enough for them to here.

"None takin, but you could've text me."

"I was going to tell you to your face and I'm sorry.", I smiled at her with my arms open.

"I forgive you.", she gave me a hug and smiled.

All the girls that was asking me questions stood until the teacher came. As the teacher took roll I seen Mia Ivashkov staring at me with total disgust. She had a good right to be jealouse, I mean, I was "dating" her crush.

The teacher let us go to change for P.E. I walked to my locker put in my combination and changed into my P.E clothes.

For P.E we played volleyball. Once we got into teams, the other team served and hit Leanne in the head. Once I figured out who served the ball, Mia Ivashkov, I went straight to her and slapped her in the face. Hard. She fell on the ground. I started to approach her. Then Mrs.Mcgarvin, the P.E teacher, got in front of me and pulled me aside. Writing a referal to the office. Great. Looks like I'm gonna have to spend the night at Leanne's today. Once I get away from my dad.
