Leo's POV
YN looked beautiful today. She was wearing a dark people dress with black sandal wedges, with a small silver necklace on. She was walking with Annabeth and Piper to the clearing where Jason and Percy were waiting for their dates. I hadn't had the courage to ask yn to the dance. Calypso hadn't wanted to give up or ugly island it stupid immortality, so we aren't together anymore. I can't date someone who won't give up one single thing for me. I met yn a year ago, right after the break up. I had developed a serious crush on her in only a month. Gods, I'd had this crush svc done nothing about it for a year. I WILL ask her to dance tonight.

Your POV
"Hey, yn!" Leo called from their pavilion steps.

"Hey Leo! Couldn't find a girl?" I taunted. I was blushing inside, my crush had talked to me, but in not one to show my emotions to others.

"As if! I just couldn't find a lady pretty enough until now."

"You wish!" I scoffed.

The music started playing as I reached the top step, where Leo was waiting. We continued the bickering until a site dying came on, when Leo started being all formal, and I started being formal back, and giddy with excitement.

"My dear lady yn," Leo started. "Would you be so kind as to take this one dance with me?"

"But of course, my handsome, greasy, sir." I joked back.

We danced for all three show songs in the first set, and afterwards, Leo took me to the beach. I took off my shoes as we reached the sand. We say side by side, in a comfortable since when Leo started talking.

"YN, I have something to confess," he started. The sky lit up as he paused and I heard a few muffled explosions. A firework show had been set off during out: I l-o-v-e y-o-u y-n ! !

"I - I love you too, Leo."

He grinned and turned so that he was facing me. "Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Of course!"

He landed forward and kissed me, gently, fit only a few seconds, but it was one of the best moments of my life.
