Description: Audio

The following is a recorded copy and analysis of a confrontation between Head Officer Harley Garrett, Officer Brian Hart, Officer Seth Branson, Officer Jake Larson, Bethany Dupree and Alec Dupree.

Garrett: Let go of the boy, drop your weapon and put your hands up! Fail to abide by these instructions will result in physical force!
Bethany: Oh, Officer, you wouldn't hurt me would you? I'm only 16, barely legal.

*giggling*

Larson: Can you please tell us your name?

*pause*

Bethany: My name, good Officer, is Bethany.
Larson: And can you please tell us the whereabouts of your sister?
Bethany: My sister?

*slight pause*

Bethany: Oh, she's around, somewhere.

*chuckling*

Garrett: Were you the one who murdered your brother, sister and parents? Their bodies were found in various degrees of abuse.

*Bethany begins laughing intensely*

Bethany: Oh Officer! No! I have no idea how my sister was stabbed 23 times or how my brother was thrown against a mirror with enough to force to smash his skull and then gutted like a pig. Oh and I certainly do not know how my parents had their throats slit, while they were still fucking.

*laughing*

Bethany: And most of all I have no idea how I ended up holding a bloodied knife to my little brother's throat! I guess something came over me,  as if I was possessed.

*intense laughter*

Alec: It was all her officer! It was her! She made me watch! Please help me please.
Bethany: Shut up you whining prick!
Hart: Sir! Requesting permission to shoot!
Garrett: No! Stand down Officer, no weapons yet.
Bethany: So! We've covered the topic of my dearly departed family, 'hmm', what's next? Oh! Officer Branson! How's your mother?
Branson: She's fine.

*Bethany gasps*

Bethany: Are you sure? Truly? Oh dearie me, you might need to give them a call.
Branson: You're lying.
Bethany: Lying? Oh no, I always tell the truth, unlike my sister. But, surely you must have seen this coming? I mean, with you leaving your mother with your abusive, alcoholic and drug addicted father? You've always feared that he'll hurt her too much to recover, haven't you? And why did you leave? All for a slut who dumped you the minute she found out you couldn't reproduce.
Branson: None of that is true! You're lying!

*there is a click of a loading gun*

Garrett: Branson! Do not shoot!
Branson: No! She's a lying piece of filth, she doesn't deserve a life!

*gunshot echoes out*

*a jumbled cacophony of shouts erupt from the Officers and Alec*

Garrett: Bethany! Don't do it!
Bethany: See you in hell.

*shouts echo as the sound of scuffing feet rush around on the concrete*

Hart: Sir! I got her! It's okay.

*shrill screams from Bethany fill the air, they slowly die down as she is taken away, along with the muffled sobs of her brother*

Garrett: Larson? Are you alright?

*small pause*

Larson: Yeah, I'm fine, it's just.

*long pause*

Garrett: Just what?
Larson: I'm sure it was nothing, but I could have swore, her eyes changed colour.
Garrett: Must have been your imagination, well, you can go home now Larson, it's past 3 in the morning and it's been a pretty rough night.
Larson: Alright, night Chief.
Garrett: Goodnight.

*audio stops*

From the audio, it has been determined that Officers tried to get Alec without force but after Officer Branson shot, Bethany threw Alec forward and proceeded to run to the edge of the roof where she stopped. Officers tried to tell her to step down but she jumped. Luckily, Officer Hart managed to catch her before she fell. She continuously screamed until she was taken away along with her brother, Alec, who is now safe, leaving the Officers shaken and cold.
