Chapter 1 : At least I don't make out in my parent's room

"Scarlett!" I looked around to see the person who called my name and I saw a girl waving at me from the hallway. I smiled as I saw Avery West, my best friend aka my best listener or I simply call my sibling.

Sh has a really good look and personality that I like about her. Her brown hair that falls down to her shoulder is really attractive on her. Her beach girl look makes every guy falls for her. She also has green eyes that suits her so well. Her personality makes her friends with everyone. She is the friendliest person I've ever met. She could even make friends with a waiter in a restaurant and make it looks like they've know each other for 10 years.

I took my textbook and closed the locker. I watched her rushing towards me while holding her books in her hands.

"So, why are you late today?" I asked her, curious. I looked at her as she put her books that was in her hand in the locker.

"Uhh, you know me Stella." She rolled her green eyes and tucked her hair behind her ear.

"Woke up late huh, What did you do last night?" I kept asking, knowing the fact that she got annoyed by my questions. She gave me a grin.

"I was on the phone with Jasper at like 1 a.m. I didn't realise time that past by and I looked at the time and it's already 3.45 a.m." She took out a textbook and a note book and close the locker. She grabbed my hand and pulled me. I looked at her confused.

"Where do we go?"

"To the library, I have some stuff to do."

"Alright." I get curious by that because she never went to the library to do any work and she would rather do in the cafeteria than in the library. After we've got to the library, we take seats and put our stuff on the table. "What do you want to do?"

"Wait, give me a minute. I need to find a book."

"Fine." I rolled my eyes. She went to find the book she needed. I waited for 15 minutes at our table and she haven't come yet. I decided to take a look around the library to find her. I walked up to every bookshelf and look in every section. Its kinda hard to find her given this library is so big. Then I heard a noise and giggles getting closer. I tried walking near the sound and when I turned around I saw Avery making out with his boyfriend. Then they noticed my presence and quickly push each others apart. "Wow so this is why you brought me here?"

"Um, no." She looked at me while holding her hands tight. "I was finding a book and I saw him here."

I laughed as soon as I heard her excuse. Her face turned confused when I started laughing. "Chill V, I'm just asking. Why are you scared?" I continued laughing.

"I thought you were going to be mad because I made you waiting." She said.

"Alright I'll see you later, Avy." Jasper spoke in the middle of our conversation because he was bored I guess.

"Okay, bye J." She kissed him again and he walked away.

"Avy? That's cute," I laughed. She rolled her eyes when I laughed. "Come on, out of all place, you chose library?" I can't help but laughing again.

"At least I don't make out in my parents room."

Okay she got me.

"Shut up." I told her and smacked her shoulder.

"Ow, okay I'm sorry." She said while laughing and rubbed the spot I smacked. We walked back to our table and she took her books. I looked at her and she made the why-are-you-looking-at-me-like-a-weirdo look. I know, that was long.

"Why are you leaving so early?" I asked.

"Because I got nothing else to do here, duh." She rolled her eyes and I laughed. She was right. What else could make her be here unless if she's with her boyfriend, not studying but kissing. I took my book and put it in my arm and walked beside V. We walked out the library and went to the hallways. While we were walking, suddenly Avery looked at me and then I looked at her back and raised my eyebrow.
