It was one day when me and my friend, Hestie, are in school.
We were some crazy 9th graders back then.
We were at the other end of the cafeteria, eating our lunch, if I remember correctly.
We finished our lunch and played some Geometry Dash levels when suddenly...

The lights turned off...

I calmed Hestie down cause she seemed to be freaked out at the moment.
"Did someone got in the school and cut the power!?" she asked me.
"Calm down, Hestie, it's just some black out... I think..." I said.
"How is that calming me down!?" she said to me.

Minutes of silence later, the radio sounded saying, "An intruder broke into our school! Students must remain calm! This is not a drill! I repeat! This is not a drill!"

I asked the janitor, "Sir! What is happening?"
"Someone assaulted the man at the front desk of this school," he answered, "Please. Avoid contact with the intruder and may God lead your way to safety." he continued.

I ran back to Hestie and whispered, "Turn your phone to silent. I'll do the same and then follow me."
"Dude, what's going on!?" she asked silently.
"No more questions okay! Just follow me!" I whispered back.
"Okay..."

While we were running to our room.

"Wait. Where are we going?" she asked.

"To our room, damn it!"

"What are we going to do there!?"

"Okay. I'm never going to repeat this again. An intruder broke in." I answered

"What!? How!?"

"He assaulted Leo, our front desk officer, and he might be doing that to every person he sees or worse... even killing everyone, so we're going to our room and lock ourselves in there!
Got it!?"

So we continued running and thank God we got into our room safely but we heard someone say...

"Lock the door!"

"Wait. Jammie!!! Thank God you're in here!" Hestie exclaimed.
"Shhhh! He might hear us!" Jammie said.

"Oh... right..."

We silently chatted for a moment.
"So Chris, how did you and Hestie get in here?" Jammie asked me.

"I'm going to answer that question." Hestie said, "He was in a hurry! He dragged me from the cafeteria to here!"

"Oh..."

Jammie seemed glad that I decided to do that.
"How about you Jammie? Why are you in here?" I asked her.
"Well... I'm more of an introvert so...
I ate my lunch alone, in here." Jammie answered.

Our chatting stopped when we heard footsteps outside...

"Find a hiding place!" I whispered.

"Over there!" Hestie and Jammie pointed to the lockers.
"They're big enough for the 3 of us. We can surely hide inside them!" Hestie said.

The doorknob twisted!

"Let's go!" I said while we were running silently to the lockers.

We hid inside them.

"Shit! It's locked!" the guy outside said, "Kids... I heard your whispers inside there... Open the door! I won't hurt you!" he continued.

We remained silent...

"You won't answer me, eh!?"

*GUNSHOT*

"He shot the door!?" I thought to myself.

"HEY!!! PIECES OF SHIT!!! COME OUT, COME OUT, WHEREVER YOU ARE!!!"

We still remained silent...

"Shit! Am I hearing things!?" he said to himself.

I heard footsteps going out of the room.
I waited for 5 minutes just to get out of the lockers, so I got out, checked the room and the hallway, and said, "The coast is clear, guys!"
Jammie got out from the locker and said, "Thank God, he thought no one's in here!" she said, "Oh yeah! Close the door and block it with some chairs." she continued.

Moments later...

"Wait. Hestie! Come out! There's no one in here now!" I said.
"Hestie!"
I opened the locker she got into and saw her...

Tearing...

Crying...

"I-I was s-s-so scared......
I d-d-didn't know th-this would h-h-h-h-happen..."

"Hestie..." Jammie seemed to pity Hestie in that situation.

We hugged Hestie tightly...

"Hestie..."

"Don't cry..."

"We made it out alive..."

"We were scared to you know..." we said to Jammie.

We started crying.
We cried for like an hour and we heard someone...

"Hestie!? Is that you crying!?" someone outside asked.
"Hey! That's Sir Nye!" Jammie said.
We removed the chairs and opened the door.
"Sir! The guy had a gun! He tried to get in so we hid inside the lockers while he was opening the door." I said, "He shot the door and opened it."
"Seems like it..." he said.
"How did you know?" I asked.
"How wouldn't I know!? Are you kidding me!? You just said that the door was shot and I saw your door having a gunshot in it! Why wouldn't I know!? I even saw him holding a gun in the security cams!"
He laughed at me...
"Wait sir! I think he's still in here!"
"No, kid. The psychopath's gone!" he answered.
"How!?" Jammie asked.
"Oh! It was easy! Didn't you know that I was a police man back then when I was 30 years old?" he said proudly of himself.
"Wait... I think I remember! I was 5 years old when I saw sir's face inside a police station!" Hestie said.
"Okay, okay, kids. Let's get out of here."

Walking out of the school, I asked Sir Nye, "Sir, how did you get that psycho out of the school?"
"Between you and me, 5 years ago, when I started teaching here, I secretly hid an Ak47 in my faculty table. I was so lucky that there was no monthly check ups on our tables. So when I heard an intruder come in, I quickly held my rifle, Ak47, to find the psycho. Luckily, I saw him walking ahead of me so I shouted, 'Freeze!' and made him drop his gun."
I was mesmerized of his bravery beacause of what he's done.

Thank God he became a teacher.

Oh yeah!
Remember Leo?
He's okay! He was just knocked out cause the guy just hit him with the gun.
