A Twin? [NOT UPDATING]

Sleep over

Zaylin's POV

I opened the door and went inside with twins. Dad was busy on his laptop.I decided to go closer and surprise him. As I walked near Dad I saw a stunning woman in a black drees who looked very pretty...i guess. I dont think i knew that lady. I didnt even see the picture for a second when dad turned to look at me and closed the laptop at the same time.

"Dad uh wh-" Dad ignored and said,"Hello"

He saw me and smiled lovingly. When he glanced up towards the twins he looked shocked. They smiled at him and he smiled back. Why was he shocked to see them? I was puzzled, but decided to ignore it.

I introduced them to dad. They smiled at each other and he became more comfortable with them.

"C'mon guys!" I took them to my bedroom where they sat on my bed. We talked and talked a lot. We caught with each others lives and laughed at each others funny or embarassing moments. We were silent for a couple of moments.

Out of nowhere I asked, "So... why were you at your granny's place?"

"She is no more." Cody said frankly. I immediately regretted the question.

"Oh sorry" I mumbled.

"Thats fine," they assured me.

"Mom misses her alot. I really can't see her crying, and its hard to make her feel alright." Zack's smile went down.

I felt bad for them. The room had filled with sorrow. It was so thick that i could've cut it with a butcher's knife. Suddenly Cody got this mischevious smile on his face and before I knew it a pillow hit my face. Cody very smoothly but subtly changed the subject.

"Oh! freak!" I said a threw the pillow back on him "haha. i always win this game" He me a loopsided grin and then out of nowhere two pillows hit me! oh my hair!

"You moron! my hair!"i said climbing on the bed and soon it became a wild fight.

After having drained from our energy levels we sat on our knees and started laughing our heads off. We both were laughing like idiots. As our laughter died down I looked at Zack. He had a very serious expression on his face.

"Nice trick of changing the topic huh" Zack mocked. Urgh! zack's mood has not changed yet.

"Zack... its okay. don't worry for your mom. She will recover. Right now you should enjoy the moment." i tried to convince him. Zack just nodded.

After a few moments of silence Zack asked,

"You dont have to answer if its too personal but i was curious....."zack said curiosity evident in his voice.

"Hmm?"

"Where is your mom? i have never seen her, i m sorry. you aren't forced to answer this girl."zack tried to say that softly and convincing.

MOM.

I dont have any idea about this word. i have never had a mom. I had never seen her. Of course i was in someone's womb for 9 months. But dad is my only mother. I never did think about mother. Who is my mother? How did she look like? Those questions circled my head for a few seconds. What should i answer him?

"Umm..uhh..my mom..-" i started to speak as I thought for a reason and that's when dad entered in the room and cut me.

"Hello people! Hot chocolate!" Dad sereved to all of us and asked

"Was there something wrong a few minutes ago? i heard a lot of Ouch"

"Haha.dad we were having pillow fight" i said glancing at cody.

"Okay people. its 2:30 am. you must sleep" dad kissed my forehead and left.

Zack quickly turned of the switch and we all went to sleep. I was confused. Does he not want my answer? well thats good. Thanks dad. At least i didn't lie to my buddies. But i can't stop thinking about that question. mom? who is she? i need to ask my dad. I never did ask him but this time i will.

The twins woke up and got ready before i woke up.

"Zaylin!"

"Zaylin!"

"Girl"

I heard noises from back.

"Yeah? what?" i said pushing the sheets over my face and going to sleep back again.

"We are leaving" they said

"What? why?. I thought we will leave together! what about breakfast? why didnt you wake me up early?" I was so fast!

"We'll do the breakfast at home." Zack smiled and went downstairs

"c'mon now ..come to say bye" cody said and pulled me up from the bed. i hugged him hard," morning codiee coo"

We went down and said our good bye's.

"Don't go to sleep now!" dad warned.

"Urgh. okay" i said dissappointed.

We ate our beakfast.

"The boys were cool." dad started to talk.

"Yep. i saw them after a long time! Very handsome twins" i winked at dad and dad smiled backed.

" I wonder... what if even i had a twin? Would i fight with her or love her badly? i dunno." I said lost in my own thoughts. Dad didnt reply. Then the entire beakfast went with silence.

Ezio's POV

I hope she didn't see the pic. I just hope. I think i should tell the truth. No. No. No. I shouldn't. I know she never gave a thought about her mom. Its alright.
