•Chapter Two - Leaving•

«Yuuka 's POV»

The Kurans are distracted. This is my chance to escape this place I call home. They won't notice I escape. They are distracted with Yuuki. Nobody is going to miss me anyway...

I walked towards the door and used my powers to make the door unlocked. I quickly walk to the front door and saw this cold white stuff surrounding the place. 'what is this? '  I took a small step towards the white thing and felt cold. This must be... Snow. ' I've never seen snow before'

I heard a door opened and I used my powers to make myself invisible. It was Juri-sama. I held my breath and felt my heart thumb loudly. She saw the front door open and quickly closed it. I signed relief I continue walking towards the soft snow.

I walk towards the dark forest. Owls flying. Bats looking at me. I continued walking until I felt the presence of A Level E.

" Hello there little one....  You look delicious....  Mind if I taste you! "  The level E was about to attack me when a man rip his head off. I look The level E 's body on the ground. The white snow turning to red.

" what are you doing here walking around the forest little one? " The man asked with curiosity. 'should I tell him the truth' I just look at the man and answer him " I ran away " I stated. He looked at me with confusion and shock " and why would you run away little one? " He asked again. " My family hates me. " I said.

The man stopped asking questions and start introducing himself. " I'm Karlheinz -" Before he continued introducing himself I took a quick step back. ' His the Vampire King'  I was clearly 10 feet away from him. " Oh. So you know about me. " Amused was clearly in his voice.

" well then little one what is your name? " The Vampire King said. " I'm Yuuka " 'that's right... I'm not a Kuran. I'm simply a pathetic child.'
" Well then Yuuka since you have nowhere to go...  I'm going to adopt you!  Call me father ~" The Vampire King said.

Didn't they say y his a cold-hearted man. Well maybe they were wrong... He is infact childish.... " Well then little one from now on your Yuuka Sakamaki " The Vampire King declared. ' A Sakamaki...'
" Why would you want to adopt me? " I whispered. Since his a Vampire he can hear it clearly. " It's because you are one special vampire... " He said. 'special...'  " and I also wanted to have a daughter " He said.

He looked down and patted my head. I flinched a bit since the bruises hasn't healed yet. The Vampire King didn't notice it and held my hand. His hand is so cold... But aren't all vampire's cold. The Vampire King took out his... Device... And press some buttons.

He start talking to someone and a black car appeared. I look at it and then look at him. He took my hand and we both went inside the car.
I look around the car and what's that.... I was about to touch it when The Vampire King picked me up and place me in his lap.

He started patting my hair and humming a soft tune... I started getting sleepy now. I have never felt like this... It actually feel nice...

«Kaname 's POV»

We were celebrating Yuuki's 6th birthday but isn't it also Yuuka's birthday as well... Yuuka she was my other half. She was abandoned by Mother. Father wanted to keep her but we locked her in the basement.

Father and I would sometimes check on Yuuka since Mother would abuse her horribly and Tonight it was my turn to check on her. Maybe I should give her a birthday present.

I went down to the basement. I noticed something different in here. I don't feel her presence. I walked faster until I teleported to her room. I noticed the door opened ... It wasn't closed... It was wide open. I step inside and ... She's gone.

My precious Yuuka is gone. I tried to search for her. I look around the entire mansion. I became furious with myself. 'why didn't I protect her' The windows starts to crack. 'she couldn't have been mine'

I'm sorry My Dear Yuuka. I promise someday that I'll find you. And I'm going to protect you.... Because your mine...
