Prologue
"Guys, calm down!" Our substitute, Ms. Jaronski, yelled for the third time. No one listened-again. I kind of feel bad for the mid fifties lady who is now sobbing uncontrollably. I cleared my throat loudly, and the classroom fell silent. "Okay guys, enough." I said in a straight face, and everyone in the room gasped, even my current girlfriend, Tanya.
I smirked "Don't you feel bad about Ms. J over here?" I motioned at Mis Jaronski, she looked at me and sniffed. The classroom is still silent. I raised my eyebrows "Nahh, I don't either!" The classroom let out reliefs sighs, and some laughed out loudly. Ms. Jaronski sniffed and started sobbing again.
I made my way to my seat, and Tanya quickly slid on my lap wrapping her long pink-polished nails around my face, and kissed me. I smiled and kissed back. She tasted like strawberries, yum! "I thought you where serious back there." She said as we pulled away, I shrugged and smirked at her.
She stood up, and my eyes quickly fell down her well-toned legs, which is in full view because she's wearing a skirt, and her shirt really hugged her curves. I licked my lips "Checking me out, ey Aiden?" She giggled. "You know me well babe." I said running my hands through my light brown curls.
She giggled once more, and kissed me again. The class yelled out 'woop's' and 'aww's', The usual.
I was caught up tasting her lips, when I heard the door open. "Umm...Sorry I'm late..." A timid, but sweet voice called out. I stopped kissing Tanya, and she pouted.
My gaze turned to the girl, who is now waddling towards her seat. Her dark brown hair is up in a bun like usual. She's wearing her black over sized jacket she always wore, that fell down on her mid thigh. She looked out the window, with a far away look in her eyes, like she's thinking about something deep. She had her headphones on, so she woundn't hear the commotion that's happening in this room.
She seemed like she's in pain, and she doesn't want anyone seeing her in pain. I frowned, but kept looking at her. Studying her closely, and staring at her while she stares something outside. I followed her gaze, and my eyes fell at Seth. He was a senior when I was in my sophomore year. He graduated 2 years ago, what was he doing here? He got in his car and drove off.
Staring at her again, my breathing stopped. She was smiling, she was beautiful when she was smiling. She should smile more often.
"Aiden!" I heard my name being called, but maybe I'm imagining things. "Aiden!" I heard it again, but I kept staring at her smile. "Aiden!" I felt something shaking me, or someone. "Stop starring at her!" I heard the voice again "Aiden!".
The girl who was looking out the window, turned her head towards our way. Our gazed locked, her chocolate brown eyes, was breathtaking. She furrowed her eyebrows, and turned away, her cheeks turned pink. I frowned why did she turn away? Have I done something wrong? Does she not find me good looking? I suddenly felt self conscious.
Maybe I was thinking hard? I looked down at my hands, and frowned again. Maybe I-
"Aiden!!" I felt a sharp pain on the side of my cheek and I looked up to see my girlfriend looking furious, "What.." I said rubbing my cheeks "was that for?" She stared at me in disbelief "You were checking her out!" Tanya threw hand up dramatically, and I fought the urge to roll my eyes.
" I was not!" I murmured, and looked back at her. "See! your about to do it again.." I opened my mouth to reply, but the bell rang. I let out a breath, saved by the bell!
She stood up and left, without another word or glance towards me, and I frowned. I heard Tanya letting out a wierd noise, and I turned to her. "Sorry babe, you know your the only one for me.." I mumbled stroking her blond hair. She looked up at me, as I stand. We were about the same height because of her high heels. She pouted "Promise?" I nodded. She giggled, and left swaying her hips flirtatiously.

Once in the hallway, I was greeted by my best friend, Nathan. "Hey man, what's up?" We did our handshake, and I grinned at him. "You know, same old, same old." "So hows Tanya?" He wiggled his eyebrows teasingly, I pushed him "You know she's hot man." I replied, and he laughed. "You and your 'hot girls'." I stared at him, he was an inch shorter than me, and his blond hair is shorter than mine, girls love him too. He was the typical best friend.
"Hey, you know in English we have our semester project that's worth half of our grade right?" I groaned "Really?" He nodded "Don't worry, we have partners." I groaned again "Man this sucks." He shook his head laughing. "Same old Aiden"
I stopped at my English class, and he bid good bye and a good luck.
~
Mr Harold, was calling out names of the people who are working together, Damn it! Nate didn't say anything about assigned partners. "Erica and Willson"
"Dan and Elise"
"Mark and Grant" I snickered, I bet they won't finish their project iin time.
I didn't move. I heard my name being called, but I didn't listen.
I was busy thinking about that girl, Ughh how can I not know her name? Because I never really payed attention to her? Or I-
"What did the poor desk do to you?" I froze. I didn't even know I wad gripping my desk, until I loosen my grip. I looked up to see the girl who owned those chocolate brown eyes.
"Aiden, I was calling you for five minutes now, son." I looked to see Mr Harold frowning at me. He cleared his throat.
"Anyways, you and Jasey are working on the project together."
I looked at the girl, Jasey, and she smiled, not her real smile. This one is forced.
Jasey huh?
This is gong to be a hella fun project!
