>>>>>>>>>>"What do you think?" Amber stepped out of the dressing room. She wore a dress that was a blush color on the top, and then the skirt part of it was a white that flowed out behind her. The dress reached the top of her knee, and she gave a little twirl.
"I..." My mouth went dry, seeing her. She looked beautiful. "Beautiful."
"Thanks, Friar." Amber blushed, using my old nickname she gave me.
"Anytime," I tipped an imaginary cowboy hat at her before using her old nickname, "Liz."
"Farkle!" Riley stepped out of her dressing room. "How about me?"
"Wh–What?" Farkle snapped awake. "Uh, um...I can't even speak when I saw you, Riley. You took my breath away."
"That's so cheesy!" I laughed.
"How long did it take you to come up with that?" Amber giggled.
"I expressed my true feelings." Farkle dramatically put a hand over his heart.
Riley wore a black off–shouldered top with olive green pants. She had black sandals with it and had put on a necklace.
"Buttercup," Amber stepped closer to her, "I don't know how any guy doesn't like you."
I tensed visibly. Amber gave me a strange look, but she shook it of since she didn't ask me about it.
"Is that what you're buying?" Farkle asked, stretching.
"Please say yes." I groaned.
"Yes!" Riley and Amber said in unison. They went back into the dressing rooms, and changed back into their previous clothing. Amber skipped back to me, tripping on her black high heel. I ran to her, catching her by the waist. Amber turned crimson, eyes wide. I picked her up, so that she was standing. She carried her clothing items, and gave them to me. Riley gave her clothes to Farkle as they both walked over to the cashier, pulling out a few dollar bills from their pockets and purse. They gave the money to us and walked outside to wait. Farkle and I made our way to the cashier, a man who looked about forty or so.
"First date?" The man raised an eyebrow.
"Yup." Farkle replied.
"Mine was worse," the man scanned the clothing items, "had to watch three chick flicks in a row."
I winced. "That must've been bad."
"Tell me about it." The man chucked. He gave us two bags, each with Riley or Amber's clothes. "Well, good luck with the next one."
"Thanks." I said, looking at the receipt. Amber's clothes were thirty dollars and Riley's clothes were thirty five dollars. And they said it was on sale! My eyes widened as the total amount was sixty five dollars. I showed the receipt to Farkle.
"Good thing we didn't have to pay for that." He laughed.
"You don't have to tell me twice." I shook my head, smiling. The door closed behind us as we exited the shop.
"Should we go back to the hotel?" Riley asked, looking at the sky. "It's getting to be night time."
I looked up, the sky began to turn a soft purple color as it changed from blue. Small white dots lined the sky as stars, the sun sinking behind the horizon with an orange glow around it.
I felt around me and grabbed Amber's hand. I looked at her as she stared at me, brown eyes against green.
"We should g–get back." Amber nodded, squeezing my hand tighter as she spoke. We walked in silence to the hotel, and entered. I took the stairs, as the others took the elevator. I bumped into someone, accidentally.
"Oh, sorry, I–" I looked to see that it was Maya.
Great.
"Oh, you wanted to bump into me." Maya giggled. "Admit it."
She stepped closer to me until her chest touched mine. Maya reached up on her tiptoes and leaned her face closer to mine, our noses touching.
"Maya, what are you doing?" I asked, trying to get my face away from hers.
"You know you love it, Ranger Rick." Maya purred, closing the gap between us in a kiss. She moved her hands up to my hair, entangling her fingers in it. Maya deepened the kiss by kissing me harder.
But then, my world shattered.
"Lucas?" A small voice said, about to cry and enlaced with pain and betrayal.
It was Amber.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*"Lucas?" I asked in a small voice. He turned, lips bright pink from kissing Maya.
"Amber, I–" Lucas tried to speak, but I cut him off.
"I thought you said you never liked her, that you liked me." My voice cracked with pain. "What other girl have you been keeping a secret from me?"
"It's not what it looks like." Lucas grabbed my hand, but I shook it away.
"Oh, please. Spare me the whole 'it's not what it looks like' drama." I scoffed, crossing my arms. "Who's next on your list? Riley?"
"Tell her, Lucas." Maya smirked.
"Tell me what?" I looked at Lucas with an enraged expression.
"Oh, about everything." Maya shook her head. "I'll leave you alone to talk." She walked away, but looked back and dared to speak again. "Yeah, Riley."
"Amber, please. Listen." Lucas pleaded.
"Go ahead, I'm listening." I narrowed my eyes.
"Maya kissed me. I didn't want her to, she just did." Lucas stepped closer to me, I stepped back. "And yes, I did like Riley. But that was before I met you. Yes, I dated Riley, I even dated Maya. But I love you, and only you."
"Are you sure?" My voice was cold. "You don't think I'm just going to cry and run into your arms and forgive you, do you?"
"I know you, Amber." Lucas said. "I know that you're not like most girls. You're...unique, and any guy would be lucky to have you. I beat them to it."
"Oh, Lucas." I shook my head. "Do you think I don't feel? You can't just tell me not to feel, because I do. I feel everything."
"Amber, I know that." Lucas' green eyes were pleading.
"And what you did with Maya made me feel the worst thing ever." I felt myself tear up. "Betrayal. Rejection. Loss."
"I promise I will never do this to you again." Lucas tried to smile, but his eyes were glossy with tears.
"No, Lucas. Tonight, you proved to me what you have done." I shook my head again, feeling a tear run down my cheek. "I think it's best if we're not a thing anymore."
"What are you saying?" Lucas' voice cracked, a tear rolling down his face.
"Lucas, I just can't handle this anymore. I'm...we're over." I turned and stormed away, into the hotel room.

Hey, guys! Please DO NOT kill me! I know! I broke up the Ambucas couple.
Oh, but don't worry, my children (I'm strange, right?), I will make a double take (no idea what I just typed) on the GMW New Year's scene, but give it my own special twist.
So, just in case, I have already hired 50 special agents to protect myself.
Oh, another thing! Please check out my other book, it's called Girl Meets Ember||Lucas Friar. I know Ember and Amber are basically the same, but I just really liked the name and I forgot that I had named this character Amber. It's another Lucas Friar story. Let me know if you guys want a Farkle Minkus story!
