oh mockingbird of pain and joy;
why do you look down upon this helpless boy;
the bird cried out with deceptive cheer;
the boy does not weep nor cry or fear;
and with that the bird flew away;
into the mixture dusk that banes today;
into the wind,the bird flew strong and with glee;
swinging and dancing,bold and free;
the bird flew swiftly and without a care;
the bird of joy, not aware;
that the boy still pains away;
looking for the joy that will never stay;
he looked at the more fearsome emotions to stay;
they looked back and came to dwell ;
inside the mind, fears from hell;
