The crash

I am on my way to a job interview at a local beach as a lifeguard. I couldn't think of find any other job so this will have to do. I'm hoping I won't have to talk or see many people. It's a really quiet beach.
I walk out with a smile on my face. I got the job. No more YouTube. I get in my car and pull in the chipotle drive through and start driving to the hospital where Adi has been for the last 6 weeks. He is all I think about anymore. I just don't understand why he has to be so sick. It is driving me crazy. I pick up extra food for Grace, she has been at the hospital for 3 days strait and won't leave Adi's side. She is so sweet I don't want to see her when Adi is gone. I knew I shouldn't be saying anything about Adi being gone but it's gonna happen, and there is nothing we can do about it. The few times Adi has been awake, he tells us he wants to live to his 18th birthday and then pull the plug. I still don't know how we are going to do it, but we still have a couple weeks.
Uh. So much traffic! Maybe I can just go around this car....

Ambulance driver pov
We got a call for a small crash on the freeway going North.
We get there approximately 24 minutes after the crash and only 2 cars were in the accident. Another ambulance is there going into one car and the driver is walking so he is fine. Let's just hope this other man is ok. I run to the car as soon as we stop. As the firefighter opens the door and drags out about a 20 year old male out of the car. His forehead is cut very badly and I call over the other EMT, we get him in a stretcher and loaded in the ambulance. On the way to the hospital, he is still unconscious, and we can't get him to wake up. He is in a coma. We unload him and then bring him in the emergency room and strait to surgery. They have to try everything the can else this man is not going to survive.

Surgeon POV
A 20 year old male came in today from a minor car crash. He just came out of surgery and is not expected to make it. The only family here for him is a younger brother that is in the ICU on the other wing and the brother's girlfriend.
5 days later
It's a miracle he woke up! Thankfully I was in the room when he woke up. I tried talking to him and he kept talking about Adi, it must be his brother, also saying something about his lungs. I ran off and got some information that stated his brother needed new lungs and the only ones that would fit where his. I talked to him the few minutes he was awake every hour.
This man is a hero, he wants to give up his life for his brother.
