One, two,
The pages are so blue,
Three, four,
The lesson has just begun and my grades have hit the floor.
Why is ten times ten a hundred?
Why do the chemicals respond this way?
So many questions fill my head.
Yet, no one has the answers for me. . .
Or they do and they don't wish to tell me.
While all the others laugh and have a ball,
More questions arrive, and no answer to go with them!
So here I sit attempting my science,
And of course failing,
Wishing and hoping to be sucked into wonderland,
To go away and be somebody's dream.
Lost in a world of nonsense and wonder. . .
