He remembered that it hurt to see her hurt. That it hurt to see her so vulnerable. As he sat, naked, in the tub, filled with water he played around with the blade between his thumb, index, and middle fingers. He wondered how much it would hurt to feel that blade against his skin. Would it hurt more than how much pain she could cause him? Curious, he tore open a soft line across his wrist in hopes to bury the pain she caused on him unknowingly. The red liquid trailed from the cut and rolled down the tub in many lines and mixed into one with the water. The slice on his wrist stung as more blood seeped out of the cut and down into the water. But it didn’t hurt as much as she could hurt him, not as much. Never as much. Soon the bath water was becoming red, blood red. As he lost consciousness and was pushed into a pitch of blackness, wondering if this was the end.
A/N: This is sad, and painful and I think it's completely different from my usual stories. It's a little dark, I think. I hope this doesn't make you feel all depressed. If anything you can always go back and read Like Cinderella, Shane might be able to make you smile ;)
I know, suicide is a very delicate and personal thing to talk about. I also know this is really sad, don't worry, it will get a little bit happier closer to the end.
This is dedicated to Fabiana @instinctive because unbeknownst to her, I had this part written a long time ago, she just gave me a push by posting her story Persuading Zavier, I think you should check all of her books out, they're great.
