Going through a phase

"Wake up Hyeji! Seungjun's waiting!" I can hear my mom screaming from downstairs

"Ugh let me sleep please..." I covered my ears with the pillow

Soon I can hear loud banging on my door, what the hell it must be Seungjun
"Hyeji-ah! We'll be late."

"Fine fine."

15 minutes later

"Mom I'm going now bye."

"Bye dear." She waved at the two of us

"Bye auntie." Seungjun said to my mom, he's always acting nice to my mom but behind that he keeps playing pranks on me

"I'm so tired, why couldn't you understand that and stop with the banging okay."

"That's because you slept too late watching that silly drama."

"How dare you call that drama silly, it's a legend!"

"Whatever." He walked ahead of me

"Yah wait for me!!" I quickly matched my pace to his

Lunch break

"Did you watch last night's episode HE WAS SO HANDSOME." I could see my best friend, Eunha's annoyed face.

"This is why you wouldn't get a boyfriend..."

We usually have our lunch at the school rooftop, it's my favorite place since it's quiet and I can take a rest here, not many people know about it.

I heard some noise from the door, is there a person coming here? I took a peek and it was Seungjun

Soon he was followed by a girl, I think she's a freshman since I've never seen her before but she looks cute and the type that guys would fall for

I don't think they saw us so we hid to see what's going on

"Let's eavesdrop on them" I said to Eunha

"That sounds...not so bad" she agreed since she's my reliable partner in crime

"Seungjun oppa..." ugh I almost barfed excuse myself

"I've been noticing you since the first day of school and I think that was love at first sight. I really like you Oppa would you accept my love?" And again another confession

So many girls have confessed to Seungjun, they think Seungjun is the most perfect guy they could imagine to exist. Well I admit that puberty hit him so hard, I don't know what some sort of magic he's using but he got that perfect straight-out-of-manga look and he's tall as hell

It's bothering me everytime a girl confess to him but I don't know why I would be bothered by it and what rights do I have

I wonder why...

"Sorry but I don't have time to date, I rather play some game to spend time." And boom, all the girls don't know that he's such a geek, they get disappointed all the time

"Uh I didn't know that you're such a game addict, so...uh bye?" She walked away disappointedly

"What the hell..." he mumbled

He spotted me and Eunha eavesdropping

"Yah you two, were you listening?"

"AGAIN YOU GOT CONFESSED AND REJECTED AT THE SAME TIME HAHAHAHAHAH" I couldn't control my laughter and Eunha too

"Tch, whatever, and Hyeji I have something to say to you come here for a sec, can I borrow her Eunha?" I took a look at Eunha and she signaled me to go with Seungjun

"What?"

"I have something to show you later, come to my house after dinner okayy."

"What is it?"

"Somethinggg" he grinned like an idiot

"Hmm k fine."

So I'll be going to his house, that's not unusual for me to go but I don't know why but I'm kind of...giddy about it?

"Look who's smiling, aren't you gonna tell him how you feel" Eunha suddenly said

"How do I feel? What are you talking about." I kept denying since I don't know what she's talking about

"Now admit it, you like Seungjun right?"

"What?! No way!"

I can't be liking my own childhood friend

Especially that geek

I believe this is just a phase, I may be interested at him but just for a bit. It'll stop in no time.
