Chapter 3. Paired Together

-Ciel's P.O.V-
I woke up to Sebastian opening the dark blue and black curtains in the guest room of the -L/N- manor.   For some reason I cant quit replaying last night when Lady -F/N- was on top of me staring at my contract symbol. Ahhh what am I thinking I'm engaged!!! "My Lord lady -L/N- has requested your presents in her study." Sebastian said bringing me out of my thoughts, as he finished lacing my boots. I only nodded as I finished my morning tea, then went down the hall to Lady -L/N-'s study. When I got there I lightly knocked on the door then I heard her say "Do come in Lord Ciel!"  How did she know it was me, and not her maid?!?!

-Reader's P.O.V-
"Do come in Lord Ciel!" I knew it was him by the way he walked down the hall! Also the way he knocked!! Not long after I spoke his piercing dark blue eye peeked into the room. As though he was afraid to enter!! "Ciel please I wont bite!!" I smirked at the face he made. Then he walked slowly into the room closing the door behind him. I motioned for him to sit in front of me, and like a good dog he did as he was told."Ive received a letter from the queen, she wants us to work together on this case..." I said handing him the letter. He read it over, then sighed standing up placing the letter on my desk. "Shall we go check out the latest crime scene??" He asked. I soon replied "Why not, give me a moment I'll meet you down stairs!" With that he left my study.  I got up and grabbed my jacket to go over my black dress. Then I met Ciel as we got into the carriage, Are demons driving. Ciel sat across from me, I cant figure out why he seems so interesting to me. I though to myself. "Lady -L/N- ?" His voice snapped me out of my thoughts "Yes, Lord Phantomhive?" I was quick to answer him. Then he looked down at the -F/C- (favorite color) velvet floor then said. "Ugh thats abit formal you may just call me Ciel!" Hmmm interesting, I thought. "Alright Ciel, you may refer to me as juat -F/N- as well. So what troubles you?" I swear I saw a light blush on his face right before he answered. "Oh nothing -F/N-  I just wanted to ask how did you know about Sebastian?"  I smirked then answered " Ciel like I said you disappeared
Then came back with a strange butler that never leaves your side, are history is almost identical." "Oh.." was all he said. He didn't remember me at all pity, I thought to myself.

-Flash Back-
"Ciel wait, I cant keep up!" I yelled at the blue hair boy turned around. "Fine, hop on!!" He said allowing me on his back when we were 5. Then ran out to the garden, were are parents were having tea. Our mothers and fathers were friends and partners. Ciel ran into the grass and put me down. "Never leave me Ciel, your my best friend!" I said pushing him on the grass. He giggled then said "I promise, never will I leave you -F/N-!"
-End Of Flash Back-

Its bin nine years sins then, we disappeared around the same time. Before that we were together almost every single day. Ciel you said you wouldn't forget me, but here we are and you have. I thought to myself while looking out the window. Then the carriage came to a stop and Sebastian helped Ciel and I out.

-Time Skip-
-Ciels aunt and your uncle had just bin killed by Grell-

-Readers P.O.V-
"Silica This Is And Order Kill That Bastard!!!" I yelled removing my eye patch. She  answered while smirking "Yes, Your Majesty!" She and Sebastian ran towards him fighting until William showed up. After that I returned home as did Ciel. I was already upset due to my 15th birthday coming up next month (A week after Ciels yall two are both 14 right now) and now my last family  member is dead. Dam is there no end to this pain and sorrow? I thought to my self before falling asleep.

-Next Morning, Still Your P.O.V-

I woke up to Silica opening the curtains. She came to my bed side while I was drinking my morning tea she handed me a letter. From Ciel Phantomhive. Hmm what on earth could he want?
Dear -Y/N-
I am holding a ball tomorrow night at my manor, It would please me if you would attend. It starts at six I hope I see your there!
