5 years later

"Kali, come on. You're gonna hit all the traffic if you don't leave now."

"Yes mom I realise that because you said it not even 5 MINUTES AGO," I yelled back. So ok maybe yelling at my mother wasn't the nicest thing in the world to do but what did she expect after waking me up at 5:00 in the morning. How dare she!!

It was now 10:00 as I finished packing up the rest of my things for my second semester of college. I groaned loudly as I heard the thumping footsteps of my mother climbing up the stairs.

"Seriously what is taking so long, you've only been back here a month. How much is there to pack up."

I chose to ignore that comment seeing as I'll probably reply with some snarky answer getting me into deeper poop with her.

Rolling my eyes I zipped up the small suit case and heaved it off my bed. "Ok. I'm off. Bye mother see you in a couple weeks or so," I said with a salute as I walked out my bed room door.
I heard her sigh knowing that I was about to receive a lecture on my lack of manners to my mother so I walked on faster, charging down the stairs and out the entry way.

Opening the front door, I chucked the suitcase into Sally before diving into the front seat. Oh yeah Sally's my car by the way. Yeah I can see how that can be confusing. I screamed a final love you out the window before pealing out the driveway and heading down the road.

                     **************

Three hours later, two McDonald's pit stops and one pee break I finally reached Kingston Village.

Kingston Village is a small town like place based around the Kingston University. A few years ago, the university bought out most of the houses surrounding the campus and rented them out the the students. So basically the town is filled with a bunch of college kids, parties and star bucks.

I stayed at one of the houses about a mile outside the campus. It was a decent size home with 4 rooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen/ lounge and a small pool in the backyard. It housed 5 of us altogether which at times can be quite cramped, especially with only having two bathrooms.

Finally reaching the home I parked on the pavement noticing the drive way had been filled with 3 other cars. With a huff I pulled my suitcase out of Sally ( god that sounds weird) and made my way into the house.

Jessica and Mikey were sitting on the couch too engulfed in sucking each other's faces off to notice my presence. Jessica is my room mate. We had the biggest room in the house so we had to share. It's pretty shitty considering we have to share a king size bed and that she has no concept of cleanliness. I shuddered as I walked past the porn show and into my room.

Clearly Jess had already been busy in here judging by the clothes scattered across the floor. I held back the urge of releasing my McDonald's from my stomach noting the condom packet on the night stand. Well at least they're using protection.

A few moments after me removing the sheet and replacing it with a clean one, Jessica walks in.

"Ugh, you're here," she grumbled. "I thought I was finally getting a room to myself. Oh well, a girl can dream. Well, you know the drill. The cupboard mine, you got the three bottom draws and the night stand cupboard. And don't touch my stuff, are we clear?" "Crystal," I relied with a sickly sweet smile. Did I forget to mention she was a class A bitch.

She began to leave before she turned around to say, "Theres a new guy moving in here, apparently he's hot so stay away from him."

"What about Mikey?"
"Oh I just dumped him."

Well ok then. This semesters starting well.
