Captured

Chapter one

     "Noah?" Lauren stared directly into Noah's bright green eyes. They had been sitting on the swings in the park for around 30 minutes just talking to each other. Noah stared into her bright blue eyes and smiled.

    "Yeah Lauren?" He responded after sharing that look with her.

     "You know I love you, right?" She asked. Hoping the answer was yes she twirled her blonde, curly hair. Noah ran his hand through his jet black hair.

   "Of course Lauren. I love you too." He said. He tucked a part of her hair behind her ear and pecked her on the cheek. She blushed a dark red when they hear a strange voice. They both jump at the booming, deep voice.

   "Oh, how cute" the big man said.

    "Who are you?" Noah said as he and Lauren got up. He didn't respond only got closer. Then another man came out of a strange looking rusted van. They both ran towards Noah and Lauren. Noah grabbed Lauren's hand and they ran home. The men had jumped into their van and started driving after them. They then got to Lauren's house and ran in, locking the door behind them.
"Holy shit" Lauren said out of breath "What was that about"

     "That van had been following us around all week" Noah said sitting down on her couch "Where's your parents Lauren? They still at work?"

   "Yeah. After my dad got a promotion he had to start going on business trips and my moms never home anyways" Lauren responded.

   "Should we tell people about the men?" Noah asked. Lauren sat next to him on the couch.
"No. they say how fast we are, they won't try again." Lauren sounded sure about her decision so Noah trusted she was right.

    "We should stay inside for the rest of the day." Noah said. They had both caught their breath after running all the way to Lauren's.

   "I'm gonna text Sarah and Tyler" Lauren said taking her phone out.

    "Tell them to come over. I want to tell them in person what happened to see their reaction." Noah said giggling

   "Ha. Okay" Lauren texted them to come over.
"We have to be very dramatic about it. Make it seem like we almost died" Noah said

   "Why" Lauren was confused why he would want to lie about that.

   "To get a good reaction from them."

  "We could have gotten killed though Noah." It was really scary for Lauren and she didn't think it was a good idea to lie about such a terrible thing because those men actually chased them. They could have gotten killed by those creepy men.

"I know. So it's not technically lying" Noah was still staring at the television.

  "Not technically but still. Just tell them the real story" Lauren got a bit sad thinking about what could have happened to them. After a few minutes there's a knock at the door.

"Be there in a bit" Noah called out. He put down the remote and rushed to the door with Lauren. They opened it and the two men were standing there. One fat and one slender. The fat man knocked Lauren down and held a knife to her throat and the slender man pulled out a gun and held it to Noah.

"What do you want from us?" Noah asked trembling with fear. He didn't understand why they were trying so hard to hurt them or kidnap them. It was all so scary to him.

"We don't want anything from you. We want you. Both of you" the fat man said. He pulled out duct tape and taped Lauren's hands together and her mouth closed. He took the blade he had and gently caressed her arm with it. She squealed when he did that.

"Stop that!" Noah called. He couldn't believe what they were doing. The fat man just looked at him as he licked his knife and dragged it against her skin harder. Her eyes squeezed shut as he dug the tip of the blade into her arm. She screamed but it was muffled so no one could hear but them. The slender man took the tape and tied up Noah too.

"We'll stop when we want to stop kid" he said tying him up. The fat man looked out the door to make sure no one was looking and rushed the kids into the back of the van. The fat man climbed into the back with them as the slender man drove off. Noah and Lauren looked at each other scared and crying. They both knew their lives would forever change from there on.
